Tour Down Under Stage 5
Today was the day when the GC was effectively decided as the only thing that could change it tommorow are crashes.
A large break went away, although the only 2 riders I remember being in it were Vicente Reynes and Dominik Klemme. About 5K before Willunga hill a group of 9 rather important formed about a minute in front of the peloton but behind the break. The break of big riders came to nothing. Coming up the climb the break split up with 4 riders in front. Klemme and Reynes were there. Moos attacked up the climb and finished just ahaead of the peloton but Klemme beat Reynes in the sprint which mean the break stayed away.

Tour Down Under Stage 6
The final stage. As I said the only thing to affect the race are crashes, Benatti has this race pretty much sown up. A large break went, and Louder went with them but couldn't do anything.
Zberg wasn't good today, he couldn't hang onto wheels. Allan Davis took his second stagegetting some bonus time while Benatti didn't...
...but no, Benatti's fifth was enough for him to win.

Amgen Tour of Clifornia Stage 1
Today was a relatively flat day with some hills in the middle but they shouldn't do anything.
Brent Bookwalter tried to go with the break and couldnt hange on with the other riders in the break, who included EBH, Stephane Auge and Ladagnous.
Auge took the KOM points while a small break in the peloton made Nydam, Garcia and Frank be a long way down.
Finally the last breakee (EBH) gave up at the 15K mark. Having got a lot of points from the 3 intermediate sprints during the day, and a bit of time and he will be in Yellow tommorow.
Zberg did well in the sprint, taking 6th. Matti Breschel barely took the win from Tom Boonen and Greg Van Avermaet.

Guess what? This story is carrying on. I've had the idea of this: Upload vids onto Youtube, so you watch them and I give you the details such as who was in the break and results. |

while it's a good idea in principle i think it'll be too time consuming and you'll get fed up of uploading videos very quickly.
good luck though. |
