Yes, I've installed the game on my girlfriend's computer which has never had PCM on it before, and then installed the DB. Works fine.
The local.cdb is in the My Documents.zip file. It needs to be extracted to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager. |

Sorry for my english but I'm french.
I have a problem with the equipment.
I see the list of equipments but I can take only the five of the beginning... I can't choose the others. |

Please read the Technical Questions and Answers:
https://pcmdaily.c...ad_id=6918
Question: I can't select all of the equipment!? Why did you bother adding it?
Answer: You can select all the equipment - but not in the equipment buying page. However, since all the equipment is free and unlocked, you can choose whatever equipment you want in the pre-selection screen before a race. |

Go and race and choose your equipment there.
The equipment buying screen and equipment selection screen look the same, but are programmed different.
You can select ALL equipment in the pre-race screen. Ignore the buying screen. |

If you've installed in properly then you should not have a problem.
I did a fresh install myself earlier today and there are no pink boxes anywhere.
I suggest opening up the Program Files Folder in the download.
Then go to C/ProgramFiles/Cyanide/ProCyclingManager.
Drag all the files across into the ProCyclingManager folder, like this.
Your problems will then go away. |

Did you do exactly as I suggested in the above post?
Go to here and check to see if you have the following file -
C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2008\CM_Textures\Equipment\Frames
frame_focus_milram_n
If you have it, then you've installed it properly. If you don't, then try doing as I suggest above.

Are you reading what I'm posting?
Here's a screen with a completely fresh install using the exact same files that you have.
You have not installed it correctly.
