but i went into the DB editor, opened the official release, and it was the riders/stats from the official release, not from V2. |

cause the database isn't in C/Program File/Cyanide... .It is in My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2008/Database.
Choose the new db in the options menu in the game

Ah no!
I need help again.
It has all the sleeves and stuff of the V2 DB, and in the options you can choose from 2 different DBs called officialrelease.cbd(or something like that), but neither of these is he V2 DB!!! |

I'm not sure which version you've downloaded, but open up your ProCyclingManager folder in MyDocuments.
In another window, open up the My Documents part of the download.
Drag the local.cdb across, as well as the Database and Import folder.
The db should then show up in the options menu. |

I think it might have been that I just picked run rather than save when I downloaded it, so now I'm re-downloading it and saving it in PCM. I will say in 2 hours if it has worked or not.B) |

You downloaded it and you can't find where it is? Look in Downloads on your hard disk. |

If you've downloaded and installed the Self-Installer, the DB is called OfficialRelease.cdb. |

hi guys,
i downloaded the v2 database using the self installer, i did all the stuff it told me to do beforehand like uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but it seems to have only half worked. the new flags are there, as are the rider photos and the background on the main screen, but the riders are still in their 2008 teams, with the 2008 jerseys and mini jerseys, new teams like the cervelo test team arent there, riders like thomas dekker that had fake surnames in the origonal game have those same names, and all the continental teams have their fake names that they came with in the origonal game. what did i do wrong, and what can i do to fix it?
p.s i selected the right database, its the only one there |
