Nope, Ryan was in Velonews. 2 medals in the nationals crit and tt, favorite for the RR until he crashed and broke his collarbone, several top ten in various pro 1/2 events like the tour of Ohio, Cascade etc. etc.
Ethan is no longer on the team, he got too old, and is now off to college. I rode with him not to long ago and indeed he is very strong but may not be pro-quality like Ryan or our other departed Alum Tyler Brandt who is going to UC berkley racing for a National level u23 program.

How? I guess they went in to wake him up, but .. not possible. It's still unsure why he died. |

Here's the article
Tour of Qatar rider passes away
Reports emanating from Qatar indicate that Topsport Vlaanderen rider Frederick Nolf has died in his sleep ahead of the race's fifth stage.
Cyclingnews' Gregor Brown spoke to ASO chief Christian Prudhomme this morning and despite Prudhomme not confirming the identity of the rider concerned, news that it was indeed the 21-year-old from Kortrijk who died in his sleep has gathered pace rapidly.
It's not the first time this type of occurence has hit an event. In 2003, 23-year-old French rider Fabrice Salanson died in his sleep during the Tour of Germany. The La Brioche Boulangere rider was found by then-teammate Sylvain Chavanel, causing a massive shock amongst his fellow professionals.
Stay tuned to Cyclingnews for more information concerning this distressing development.
RIP

Very sad, when things like this happends, luckily it doesn't happends as often as it did in the 90's. The worst thing is that I can't stop thinking what caused it

Does someone know why the race isn't going on Eurosport now? Is it because of the death of Nolf? |

the sad thing is that the question of drugs will always hang over his death. maybe the autopsy will find a heart defect that was never spotted.
my dad used to race at a decent level for Halesowen CC back in the 70's as a teenager. a few years ago he had a minor stroke that was caused by a small hole in his heart. the doctor told him he was very lucky to still be alive considering all the cycling he did as a youngster with such a defect.
guess some people are just unlucky
RIP
