Disappointed with that 5th placing in stage 3, but very glad to have managed to elude another top10 on stage 4. I'm sure we'll get back to our usual efficacy at avoiding the BOTD in the remaining stages.
We actually may be top of the division in red kyte sprint victories, something which just isn't valued enough imo.
Commiserations for the victories, guys, and thanks for the reports so far Imladrik!

This goddamn team... A genuine sprint victory from the homegrown St Lucian hero! That's three stage wins already this season, setting us up to be potentially our most victorious ever under the Podium Ambition moniker. Absolutely huge result in a race we had zero hopes for.

Haller with his first decent result for us with 3rd on S4. S3 was a washout. Time for Yates to step up. Thanks for the reports.

Congrats to Mantez and TMM for winning in the sprint lottery
Hodeg looked strong in the end in stage 3 but just missed the final split. 6th is an okay result nonetheless. And he looked even better in the second sprint, at least until 300 m to go ...

Buchmann! Great result for him, now just hoping things don't fall apart in tomorrow stage. Also nice to see Muller mixing it up at the top. No clue why he wasn't doing that in the USA Pro Cycling Challenge. Thanks for the reports KB.

Thanks for the thanks, but actually Imladrik is reporting this one
But the mistake is easy to make given the anonymity of my riders here

There he is! Congrats Ulrich, Yates doing what he does best.
Surprising Bagioli is coming in 6th here with no time loss, what a ride to stay at the front and taking the white jersey. Tenorio still doing really well too, not gonna get my hopes up but hoping for a good day tomorrow and we might come out of this race with a lot of points.
Thanks for the great report!

Pretty impressive to what extent the startlist impacts the way a stage is raced. Last year we had Areruya, Meintjes, Yates, Olivier and PPP, and the gaps on this stage were pretty impressive. This year, with just Yates and Meintjes being superior climber, there's a 14 rider group up front... Still congrats to Ulrich, the Yates signing paying off for the first time
From my Swiss PoV, also nice to see both UBS and Sauber winning a stage each so far, in particular happy for Hirschi
I guess it should be between Yates, Meintjes, Buchmann and Hirschi for the overall win, all having a great stat combo for that climbing-heavy final stage. But after Bagioli's USA PCC, I wouldn't be surprised to see him distance them all and take the win

Woo hoo, Yates gets the job done. First stage win for us this year. Little worried that the team hasn't been strong, not really got many of our climbers here. Need Rota and Siegle to step up tomorrow and then Warbasse to cover at the end.
Seems like it will come down to bonus seconds.
Thanks for the reports.

Nice few stages to follow here, although pretty sad that Ayuso didn't opt for the break to chase more KoM points hopefully he goes ballistic on the next stage. Also happy to see that Meurisse is actually in the running for a good GC result here as well after a nice stage.

Norbert with a (mostly) under the radar race that clouds quite how impressive it was. Multiple Stage Top10's, including that win, and spent a lot of the sharp end of the race hanging into the main favourites groupings. A fun rider and this race really announces him as such, one to watch if we can afford any training at the end of the year.

That's a nice chunk of points for da boys. Needed more rigging from the Polish mandem but that is certainly good enough

So close for Buchmann
But Yates is definitely a deserved winner, congrats to Ulrich!
Pretty surprised to see all those puncheurs holding on, looking at last year's results on the same stage - but again, this must be due to much weaker climbers depth. Great result for Meurisse in any case, but also for Zalgiris! Weird to see Powless miss out, must've been sleeping...
Thanks for the entertaining reports

Thanks for some great reports!
As annoyed as I was seeing that Ayuso decided to not chase the break today as overjoyed was at the end! What sprint from Meurisse to beat Ackerman of all people! Winning it all would have been incredible but I will happily take a third in the GC!

What a race again from Bagioli - some great stage results and 6th GC + u25 is an awesome result from throw away race days. Still surprised about the punchers being able to hold on this season, but no complaints Tenorio doing really well in the GC too is great with Abdurrahman completing a terrific race for us in 21st(?) as well.
Congrats to Ulrich on Yates doing his thing - onwards and upwards from here with Yates I’m sure
Thank you for the reports!

Well that was close but our first big result of the season and a win goal achieved for the first time since Holloway did it in our first season.
Very nice of Bagioli to help out his old team by stealing the last bonus seconds to save our GC. Agree with others, very surprised to see the puncheurs do so well and glad not to suffer for the competence. And a little kudos to the AI that you can have different outcomes with a realistic range depending on how the race is ridden.
Thanks to Imladrik for the report
