Im using the V1 version but the game keeps crashing when I'm viewing the race profiles inthe calender. Its not every race just at random strange.
Is this a known but and can it be fixed in anyway? |

It's not a general bug since it's not experienced by anyone else but you
Are you sure it's completely random? If one particular race profile crashes, doesn't it crash again if you click it? |

Yeah it crashes onthe same race profile everythime with the following error message:
Runtime Error
Program: ... (x86) Cyanide\PCM\PCM.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Do a quick check up until May and this are the races it does it to:
Tour de San Luis
Tour of Wellington
Worlds View Challange
MTN Giro Del Capo
Gran Premio Miguel Indurain
Scheldeprijs
East Midland International Circle Classic |

Sounds to me like you didn't install it correctly then. Many of those are new races, and if it crashes it's usually because the game can't find the file in CM_Stages. |

Try installing the database again yeah?
Im starting to believe I have major gremlins with this new pc, tried to install 2009 maximum Equipment db but when I extract to PCM08 I just get loads of winrar diagnostic messages like;
C:\users\mark\Desktop\pcm files\database\DB2000.rar.Cannot create DB 2009\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manger - Season 2008\Blocs\Borders\ballon-cyanide-d.dds |

The Cannot Create DB error message is a question of permissions. The way to solve that is to extract the DB to another place instead - let me suggest e.g. a folder on your desktop. Then, when it's extracted, you move all the folders to Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manger - Season 2008
My suggestion, though, is to wait c. 1 week and go for the V2 of PCM.daily's 09 DB |

Extract it into a file first on your desktop or in your own personal place! Not into pcm THEN extract it into pcm from the file you have put it in on your comp!! |

Yep, that was what I tried saying before.
When extracting, try not to extract it the PCM folder. Instead, make a folder on your desktop and extract it to there. When it's done, move the files from the folder you created to the PCM folder. |

Yes, extract it to (not from) a different place, and then cut and paste into the PCM08 folder. |

I know the V2 is out soon, but i want to continue the career i have going, so ill ask if anyone has a solution to this anyway.
The game crashes with a runtime error at the race, "volta ao distrito de santarem". I've tried 3 different careers each with different teams, participating, not participating and simming this race all to no avail... If anyone knows how to fix this id be much appreciative! thanks! |

there's no need to feel that way
there are some other few races where it crashes and it has nothing to do with the patch
