@Fabianski
Page did his part on S1
---
@Jakstar22
Thanks! What even is this finish on S2? Oh well, we'll take it
Just hope it doesn't affect Kozhatayev's GC or Page's motivation to sprint.

Thanks for that super preview.
Yeah for Glanbia, Kent and Mannion here for the GC. One in the too 10 or two into 20 would be good.
A nice intro from Liam Crowley, possibly Glanbia' s first ever White Jersey wearer!

Good to see Gibbons at least sprint this time around, one 6th place wasn't really what we were hoping for from two sprint days but at least the trend is going upwards.

Oh wow, now even 3rd?! Good Job Theo, that may not be superb in the eyes of many but thats what I expected from Reinhardt. Just scoring a bit in Sprint finishes to take some pressure from Willwohl. So he does great.
Another grat thing for me is to see how Roel van Sintmaartensdijk performed for Sauber.
Thanks again for the report and congrats to the others too!

Surprise win by Vingerling. Congrats!
5th isn’t great on S3 considering the energy we put into chasing and setting up a train.
Looks like the points jersey could very well end up on a strong GC rider again this time.

It's been nice to see our young riders getting out there in breaks on the opening stages, looking forward to seeing if we can continue that on the mountainous ones.

A great result by Zhao in stage 3, after some lackluster results. Thank you for the reports KB, these are excellent and coming fast!
Looking forward to seeing the GC race heat up in the mountains, soon. We've had some encouraging sights of Duvel-Tsingtao riders near the front, but it is a bit strange that Van der Sande hasn't been able to score for himself at all - I guess in his swansong he is being the unselfish helper to get Zhao in a good position.

From bad to worse... All the "Title Winners" preseason hype has seemingly distracted our team from putting in the necessary work needed in the offseason to be ready for the start of the year
Got to keep the faith that things will turn around eventually.

Decent stage 3 from us, feels like we could've gotten even more out of it but won't complain about two in the top 10. Stage 4 was always going to be about limiting losses versus the stronger hills guys, which Chamorro more or less managed, while Berhane failed spectacularly. How he managed to finish more than 5 minutes down on Gibbons on a stage like that is beyond me. Hopefully it was all just a ploy so that he can get in the breakaway in the mountains...

Yesss!!! Bennett with a win already! So pumped! Davila in the front group as well and 1.25 to next competitor! Great stage for us! Really happy to be in the GC lead. It will be interesting to see how we go keeping it since we haven’t really been in this situation before.
Thanks for the great reports so far

Congrats Jakstar and thanks for the report KB!
Stage 4 exceeded expectations, Dion Smith with an unreal performance. Just hope he can keep it up for the tougher mountainous stages, but he's put himself in a nice position in his first leadership opportunity for us. Really cool to see, but at the same time commiserations to some of the other managers whose leaders inexplicably lost huge time this stage. Odd PCM!

Thanks for the report once again. And congrats to the winner here.
I have to say for us a huge W again. Harm staying in the top group and finishing well. So if he doesnt break down in any other stage he should be able to claim a decent position in the GC. Thats all we hoped here in the race.
Ouch to some of the top favorites for the tour. If i look at Carapaz, oh boy. Well maybe they are strong enough to get the time back they lost here.

Carpenter might have been able to score a good result for himself on S4, but nice to see him work for Kozhatayev.
Slight disappointment from Page on S5. I guess our team couldn't provide sufficient support.
Time for an update on our race objectives:
Caspi wrote:
GC top 10 - B. Kozhatayev - in progress
Top 3 on at least two of the sprint stages - D. Page - Failed
Top 5 on the final TT - Dennis or Kiflay - in progress
Either a stage win, the points jersey or KOM win - anyone - Achieved

Comical stuff that we get our strongest sprint train going at the fourth time of asking only to miss out on the top 10 entirely. No arepas for the lads tonight.

Zhao is becoming a revelation. In the absence of a leadout, he's picking the right wheels and just launching (a bit early this time). Loving how PCM is treating him so far, bodes well for the season, and a deserved points jersey for now. Now if he only had a bit more stamina or sprint ability...
Congrats to Noutisgood and the other podium finishers.

Damn so close again. Congrats to the winner. Still picking up great points though so happy with how it’s going. Now onto the GC defense!
