How can you say that, Roman? Did you see something from the new "game"? You can't even tell what the main priority of Fizzle's game is, so how you can say it's better than Cyanide's?
Contador: At the moment, there's no "real" rivals to PCM
Yes, your right on that part, and it's going to get hard for their team to reach their schedule, if it is going to be released even in the start of 2010.
I have talked quit alot with some on the team(Roadie and OlegTinkov) and i have seen some of the work of Jmurb and Ivancin there, so in my thoughts they have a fairly good team as a basic.
Though i hope they have a place for other's to join aswell!

But as I've also said on their forum /which I got banned for, by the way - critism isn't exactly what they are best at), there's a huge difference between doing some beautiful work on something that other people (Cyanide) have made, and building something completely on your own.
I'm sorry, but neither Smoothie, rjc_43, JMURB (I don't know about Roadie, but I doubt it) are professional animators, graphists or anything along the way. They can't make a game. They can hire people to make it, but they can't do it themselves.
So until we actually see something, my advice is that you relax. It's especially not very smart to go around dissing Cyanide, saying that Fizzle's game is better when there's no proof. I thought that everyone had learned that lesson after Cycling Evolution's complete failure, but obviously not..

Hehe, i have to say that the game is currently being draw up and there are a hell of a lot of great ideas on the table. With the amount of good programmers coming in some ex Activision i think the game should be pretty good.
Yes, i think your new game will definately be better then the one cyanide produces, though we'll have to wait and see.
Though what's your main priority on the game?
I am registered there on the site and have contacted Roadie and know he want's to have a much stronger graphical side then cyanide have.
That's bad then. If they focus mainly in the graphical side, the gameplay will be worse, I guess. We want a game when we can experience cycling not in a graphical way but in gameplay way. But if they improve both parts, it will be perfect
Yes, your right there aswell.
Though me myself didn't know that not anyone of them on their team was animator(s), though as of much i have talked with Roadie, i do think he's a animator, though i actually don't know.
Though they can hire qualified pepole as animators to get the job done for them, of course.
Edit: Yes, they want it to look more graphical in what i have heard what he's said, though that doesn't mean it will be just a graphical cycling game, without any good gameplay in it.
I think their basics is to have more/better on both parts.

Yes, but then there's a problem (if they hire people): Money. A lot of money. The gaming industry recently went past the CD and movie industry in terms of sales, but also in terms of production costs.
What I'm saying is that it requires A LOT of money to actually make a game. It requires double as much to make two games. And even more to make those two games for several platforms.
So, where's these money coming from? Roadie's pocket? The bank which is, of course, willing to invest a lot of money into a bunch of newcomers (in the gaming industry) who've never ever made a game before, and who's now trying to make a game about a sport which is more and more in a crisis -- while there's a global financial crisis, meaning that banks tend not to loan out money - and if they do, only to "solid" people where they are sure of getting them back again?
Believe what you want, but don't get disappointed, and don't have too high expectations.

I guess VizleFx crew are very good in graphs, but I haven't seen any work in the gameplay part. It will hard, very hard to make a game that beats Pcm because cyanide has a lot of experience contrarily to VizleFX.
And about the money question, I fully agree, Crue.
But, anyway, good luck

*holds up that sign that says "Will praise Cyanide for beta-spots"*
Fizzle wont be able to make a PCM-killer in that little time unless they have a rich uncle on the life-support.
Did i mention that i asked Roadie what steps they want to take in order to safe their game against piracy. And then answer came out in a very political uncorrect manner: They would use DRM as opposed to... You know during the real thing like trusting your customers and stuff like that.
