We were well placed. That's all i can hope for on a flat first stage. Now the party properly begins...

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, my number 1 sprinter!
Mareczko really doing well on these kind of stages where the big names are absent. Glad I kept him on board.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good stage and season opener for Olivier so far.
Attentive in the flat and one of the most active today. Won't if him riding a bit more passive could have lead to challenging at least Choi or even Wellens but that group is exactly where he should be.
Gaining on rivals such as Bennett or Padun obviously is a big bonus.
Congrats to SotD and thanks for the report. |

A strong showing first up in the Mountains here from Wellens! The only rider who could stay anywhere near the Big 2 and deservedly takes his spot on the podium as it stands. He's got plenty of work to do still but a promising start! Mas also sticking around well to be in the Top 15 but his sole task here is to support.
Thanks for the great report

Upps. knockout of course.
Lecuisinier one of the riders, that somehow keeps remaining with SotD in my mind. |

Strong stage by my Evonik guys. The entire team set up the attack well and Lecuisinier delivered in style. Gives us a strong early position.
Thanks guys!

Shit start from Nur Hasan, tried to go too early. Nothing to write about on s2 either - hopefully everyone’s far enough back now they start trying for breaks etc etc. congrats knockout!
Thanks for the report!

Another very solid result from Wellens! Very much consolidating that final spot on the podium and keeping with Dombrowski which gives him an outside chance of stealing 2nd. Mas finishing a little further down but still 16th overall while Rodriguez took lieutenant duties today. Great team work all around.
PHL too strong but still reachable! Thank you for another exciting report and hopefully more to come

Looking very good so far. Team support was not looking as good as on the previous stage but Lecuisinier was dominant again. Love the control over all the classification. Hope we can ride this home now.

Again losing on Choi is not ideal but s.t. as Barguil and gaining on all other direct rivals is a good result. Olivier one more showing his skills here and nice to see Cras with him for most of the climb as one of the last support riders. In the end he dropped a bit more than hoped but fair enough.
Hopefully he remains in the top5 till the end. In especially the time gaps to Barguil will decide I guess.
Thanks for the report and congrats knockout. |

Another very good result for Choi. Can't ask for much more really. Leemreize also performed very well. Hopefully Carboni has something up his sleeve for later.
Congrats to knockout and thanks for the report

Reis in the top 10 is definitely what we want. A bit disappointed he wasn’t able to keep up in the 3rd stage but nonetheless a decent performance. Congrats to the winner and thanks for the report

Good effort by Hamilton, actually. That's all we need here, except Kennaugh to do something worth a proper sprint.

Oh that hurts, Kolar with his best bit of riding since he joined the team. God damn PHL, he’s too good - if he didn’t go on with it, Kolar and Hamilton may have been able to stay away. Good result for both of them anyway.
Congrats again knockout, don’t think PHL even broke a sweat today.
Thank you for the report also, was lovely to read!

Ovsya disappointing in the sprint stages but back to focus in the final 2 stages as the team supports Wellens in any way possible!
