and i knew Barça have a Handball, Futsal and Basketball team, but not so much on the hockey, it seems the are very good though
with the budget they have, their team is basically the world all-stars
except for the world's best goalkeeper, who plays for Porto and refuses to leave. very ironically he's a born Catalan

True but Cavendish completley failed at the Tour de France, and Millar failed at the Worlds
but i suppose Cavendish has been great apart from Le Tour, despite being the most arrogant person on the Isle of Man ()
and Millar did fairly well in the TdF working hard
outside of cycling, there is pretty much no-one that's hasn't dissapointed
@the hockey guy;

he's a victim of his own hype. if you think of this rationally, he might have a very big future, but you'll see he isn't there yet.
case in point, apart from the famous first victory where he came out of McEwen's wheel to win, here are the guys who were second or third in his wins:
Matthew Goss
Sebastien Siedler
Kenny van Hummel
Aaron Kemps
Leonardo Duque
Paolo Bossoni
Wouter Weylandt
Robert Forster
JJ Haedo
Grame Brown
Fred Rodriguez
Steven Caethoven
Gert Steegmans
not a top list, but you have to remember that the biggest names on that list beat him more often that he beat them.
he'll probably be very good (or he could be the next Ivan Quaranta or Baden Cooke or Francesco Chicchi...I'll stop now.), but you have to give him time. he's had far too much hype. same as Andy Schleck, and pretty much every other young talent in every sport.

I don't really know what to do here. First of all, I can't watch it, but I guess it will be available on some live stream. Second of all, I'm at my girlfriend's place, and I don't think she's going to let me watch boxing at 2 in the night |

Joe Calzaghe came in just over a pound light of the 12-stone limit at the public weigh-in, but Mikkel Kessler had to strip naked to make the weight.
Calzaghe weighed 11st 12lb 7oz ahead of their super-middleweight unification bout in the early hours of Sunday.
But Kessler was initiallly two ounces over before shedding his underwear to weigh-in at exactly 12-stone.

A few days ago, it was reported in Danish newspapers that Kessler weighed too much. He said he would make the cut, though, and obviously he did |

I was asked yesterday by the media who I thought would win .. and I did actually say "Calzaghe". Unfortunately, I was right. I didn't see the fight, but there's no doubt in anyone's minds: Calzaghe were just better.
So, I said earlier that the Brits needed this because of their not too succesful year (in sports). One nation which has had an even worse year must be Denmark. We missed the qualification for the European Championship in football, we missed the qualification for the World Championship AND the Olympics in Handball, we lost this boxing fight, and, and, and |

We're not in the Olympics?
How can that be? The defending champions should be guaranteed participatoin no matter what.

Not if they can't beat Ukraine, they shouldn't...
We lost in a two game match-up against the Ukrainians this summer... |
