I feel like Govekar should have won that one from that position, but 2nd place in Faso is still more than you'd expect from a lvl 1 puncheur

A bit late, but better late than never!
Absolutely stunning win from Mengoulas, to kick of his life as a professional cyclist! Really happy to see this.
If he can keep the U25 jersey it would be a great achievement!

Scotson finishing in the first group and 10th in GC is a nice salvation though. Of course I would have preferred a random green jersey, but I guess we did fine enough eventually.
Congratulations to those, who did well, and thanks for the reports, LLS!

This is our first Team trophy. We are so proud of everyone working together so well as a new team. Well done! Shoutout to Manakov and Chatarunga in 2nd and 4th in GC.
P.S. Lucky, we avoid Colombini to get everything in this event. |

What a result and performance by Lampaert and the team. I was starting to lose faith in the team after failing to score big lately. But a huge points haul here has reinvigorated my trust in the boys. Thanks for the report LLS

Surprisingly tame stage despite the many DNFs.
The trio was better on this stage but expected higher GC positions. Thanks for the reports LLS and congrats KaiserAdler!

Okbamariam was a disappointment overall, but Mengoulas' stage win makes this a big success regardless and I'm very happy to see former Bralirwa rider Lampaert winning the whole thing!

After a big high in stage 1, a big low in stage 3. Maybe because he did too much pulling in the bunch? What a shame to lose it with such a big lead, especially because he is one of the best cobblers here.
Thanks LLS for the reports, great race! And congrats KaiserAdler with the win

From two potential Top10 GC finishers to barely scraping a single Top30 - yep, that feels about right for this season.

Jon-Ander salvages this race on the last stage! Of course he couldn't compete with his attacking mates, but 4th in the stage and 9th in the GC is as good as it gets.
Thank you for the reports! |
