Stage 1/5:
Squad: Bonsergent, Meier, Lelarge, Dalibard, Duret, Poilvet and Zielinski
The first stage of this tour is a fairly easy one, everyone is saving his powers because no one wants to enter the 3rd stage, the stage to Mont Faron, with weak legs. However in the sprint the big guys get to the front and its the viking who speeds past the 'smaller guys'
'Acceleration by Husjhoft!'
Elmiger and Demaret are behind him but Hushovd is much stronger and wins easily
'Victory for Tor Husjhoft!'
Bonsergent is badly placed but still does fairly well ending 8th.
Result:
01. Thor Hushovd Crédit Agricole 2h52'22
02. Martin Elmiger AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
03. Rony Martias Bouygues Télécom s.t.
04. Jean-Eudes Demaret Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone s.t.
05. Mickael Delage Française des Jeux s.t.
06. Claudio Corioni Liquigas s.t.
07. Sébastien Turgot Bouygues Télécom s.t.
08. Stéphane Bonsergent Bretagne - Armor Lux s.t.
09. René Mandri AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
10. Alexandre Botcharov Crédit Agricole s.t.
Stage 2/5:
Again a stage for the sprinters, tommorow its the Mont Faron stage but today the sprinters have another shot at victory and today Bonsergent is placed well while Hushovd is nowhere to be seen!
However its Rojas who has a small lead over Bonsergent en Demaret!
Bonsergent is getting closer and closer but in the end its Rojas, who ended 11th yesterday, who takes the win. Bonsergent ends 2nd and can still be satisfied.
Rojas wins in front of Bonsergent and Demaret
Result:
01. José JoaquÃn Rojas Caisse d'Epargne 3h09'11
02. Stéphane Bonsergent Bretagne - Armor Lux s.t.
03. Jean-Eudes Demaret Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone s.t.
04. Daniele Bennati Liquigas s.t.
05. Claudio Corioni Liquigas s.t.
06. Alexandre Usov AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
07. René Mandri AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
08. Thor Hushovd Crédit Agricole s.t.
09. Alexander Serov Tinkoff Credit Systems s.t.
10. Rony Martias Bouygues Télécom s.t.
Stage 3/5:
The queen stage of this tour, the stage to Mont Faron! Bretagne lacks a real leader but still, at the end of the day we were satisfied with the Canadian Chris Meier who ended 19th. But up front there was a real battle for the win. With 2 kms to go its are Pellizotti and Gentili who attack and hold a small lead over the pack.
Gentili and Pellizotti leading on Le Mont Faron
While Botcharov, Lowe and Vanendert join them its a Spaniard who blasts past them!
Rodriguez places a strong attack which no one can counter!
The chasers get closer and closer and Rodriguez really has to fight for the win!
Rodriguez still wins even tho Botcharov and Pellizotti were close!
Nice to see that my db produces some realistic results, Botcharov won this stage irl and here he almost won it but just came up short
Result:
01. JoaquÃm RodrÃguez Caisse d'Epargne 2h46'14
02. Alexandre Botcharov Crédit Agricole s.t.
03. Franco Pellizotti Liquigas s.t.
04. Trent Lowe Garmin - Chipotle powered by H30 s.t.
05. Massimiliano Gentili Acqua e Sapone - Caffè Mokambo s.t.
06. Jelle Vanendert Française des Jeux s.t.
07. Pietro Caucchioli Crédit Agricole + 34
08. Dario Cataldo Liquigas s.t.
09. José JoaquÃn Rojas Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
10. Patrice Halgand Crédit Agricole s.t.
Stage 4/5:
Again the break stood no chance (very annoying imo, Ive never seen a break make it in this game thus far) but still the GC would change!
The pack breaks!
And so some riders would lose serious time, Meier even jumped to the 15th spot in the GC, and since some sprinters were taken by surprise aswell there would perhaps be a chance for Bonsergent. However poor positioning ruined his chances, FDJ did make a perfect train and so their sprinter Delage took full advantage of that
Delage wins with Martias being a surprising 2nd
Result:
01. Mickael Delage Française des Jeux 3h14'00
02. Rony Martias Bouygues Télécom s.t.
03. José JoaquÃn Rojas Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
04. Jean-Eudes Demaret Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone s.t.
05. Martin Elmiger AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
06. Stéphane Bonsergent Bretagne - Armor Lux s.t.
07. Alexander Gottfried Tinkoff Credit Systems s.t.
08. Lilian Jégou Française des Jeux s.t.
09. Christian Meier Bretagne - Armor Lux s.t.
10. René Mandri AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
Stage 5/5:
The final stage, yet another sprint, and its Thor back on top. Bonsergent ends 9th while Meier ends 23rd overall, overall a decent tour for us.
Thor Hushovd takes his 2nd stage
Result:
01. Thor Hushovd Crédit Agricole 2h55'52
02. José JoaquÃn Rojas Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
03. Diego Milán Acqua e Sapone - Caffè Mokambo s.t.
04. René Mandri AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
05. Mickael Delage Française des Jeux s.t.
06. Jean-Eudes Demaret Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone s.t.
07. Alexander Serov Tinkoff Credit Systems s.t.
08. Anthony Geslin Bouygues Télécom s.t.
09. Stéphane Bonsergent Bretagne - Armor Lux s.t.
10. Claudio Corioni Liquigas s.t.
Final GC:
01. JoaquÃm RodrÃguez Caisse d'Epargne 14h57'19
02. José JoaquÃn Rojas Caisse d'Epargne + 14
03. Thor Hushovd Crédit Agricole + 38
04. Pietro Caucchioli Crédit Agricole + 54
05. Martin Elmiger AG2R La Mondiale + 1'06
06. Jean-Eudes Demaret Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone + 1'10
07. Alexandre Botcharov Crédit Agricole + 1'14
08. René Mandri AG2R La Mondiale + 1'18
09. Renaud Dion AG2R La Mondiale s.t.

Thanks, nice that u like my flags schleck and thanks tbaum I always try to take pretty screens
Squad: Meier, Poilvet, Zielinski, Bonsergent, Dalibard, Mercado and Lebreton
A 195km long race from Draguignan and back again to Draguignan with in between a difficult terrain but if the pace is not too high many sprinters may make it to the finish even tho they'll probably be tired. Several big breaks are caught but after 50 kms the pack finally lets one go.
Kangert leads the break of 13 with Poilvet in it for Bretagne
However the pack never really have this dangerous break lots of room, with 25 kms to go its Arroyo who goes solo
Arroyo trying to do the impossible
Not surprisingly Arroyo was caught with 15 kms to go, Bonsergent was still in the pack but since he was too tired we decided to give it one more go in the final kms with Meier who was the only one still capable of attacking.
Meier goes with 5 kms to go!
Meier gets a nice gap but then its still 2 kms to go, then the other favourites who are still fresh sense that they have to attack now if they want to get Meier back..Botcharov is the first to go after him and with 2 kms to go he leaves Meier behind. Further back Vanendert, Pfannberger, Baliani and Rolland attack as they also try to get Meier back while Bonsergent is placed at the front of the pack just in case these guys are caught
Botcharov leaves Meier behind, can the Russian hold on?
Botcharov loses time in the final km but even tho the chasers get close he wins, Meier does a good job ending 6th while Bonsergent ends 8th as he loses the bunchsprint to Mugerli 25 seconds after Botcharov crossed the finishline.
Alexandre Botcharov wins the Tour du Haut Var!

meh Im not motivated to play with this team, I just dont have a connection with the team, know it sounds weird but its just not motivating this way. I will now think more thorougly about which team I´m taking so that I can finally start a long lasting career(s)

maybe it's because you know you've got no real chance of any short term success without cheating. no chance of winning = no motivation. maybe pick a team that it will be a challenge but not impossible to win something. like my Milram story, it's hard but every small victory is an achievement. and if i do stay up at the end of the season i think it'll mean more then someone racing with CSC or Quickstep and winning everything they enter.
good luck in your quest to find a team you can connect with |

nah that no winning thing is not really true trust me I've played with Sparta Praha and Nippo in pcm2006 and in the beginning I also had lots of trouble winning there. I just dont really like the riders and team but why...I dont know
