You did very well with those renewals. Not only with Manninen and Zmorka, but in particularly also with Munoz and Sterbini I think. Those add great value.

Thanks for the nice comments, all. I am definitely happy with Zmorka's pay cut. Think my strategy on Manninen wasn't the greatest, but with some luck he should still be worth the 465k.
And yeah, it's true, I also can't believe how Quispe is actually available... He indeed is not only a superb lead-out in literally any division, he just knows how to score points himself as well when he has a free role. Although like 90% on domestique duties in a hard CT division two seasons ago, he still took the two (literally only two) chances he had to score well over 50 points and barely miss out on the individual top-100 rankings. Crazy to think that he did that on minimum wage, and after single-handedly leading sprinter Manninen to over 1.000 points in PCT he still is minimum wage. He still isn't even maxed out yet with 80 flat, only one season away from 81 flat. I couldn't resist myself to go onto a little trip to Quispe memory lane, but a legend like him deserves it.

As stated earlier, I also can't believe how Quispe is actually available... He still isn't even maxed out yet with 80 flat, only one season away from 81 flat. I like to consider myself a good guy and that's why he would be available for a very low and reasonable fee.
Manninen on the other hand is a rider we will definitely need in our 2023 season, which is very probably in PCT. Of course, he doesn't really fit the regional focus, so a convincing offer or trade deal might persuade me into getting rid of him.

Was not expecting that availability! But maybe it makes sense if a good deal comes along and you can get another great leader.
Looking forward to our talks in transfers, as always.

Exactly my thought process. If a nice deal comes along and I can get another great leader, Quispe can go dominate the CT or PCT again. I also look forward to talking with you and possibly fighting over some Dutchies.

Latin American 50k talents First FA's are coming through for everybody, same for us. We managed to snatch up three regional 50k talents, and we are happy with them. We commited by making cyling in Mexico bigger again by signing two future domestiques. Jose Pablo will be a fun asset for our TTT set up one day, whereas Oscar Samuel will also be a decent time trialist, albeit with way better climbing stats.
The former will enjoy a season in CT at Colombini-Adler Aalterpaint, where he will enjoy the company of his mentor Alain Quispe. The latter will enjoy a season in PCT at Philips - Force India, where he will learn Dutch and know the team two most important languages by the time he gets back.
Pira on the other hand is a fun little dude. Tried to get him as a stag last season but didn't have the funds when got outbid, got released by the other team in FA and is now where he belongs. Great thing is I can max him from 1-3 myself in PT this season, as he is already being nicknamed the Colombian Seboka by his fans.

In this HQ update we give you the newest updates of our transfer signings, with our first deal included as well.
After signing three 50k talents the day before, two other 100k boys have been welcomed to the team as well. Daan Hoole is a very important rider for our co-sponsor Galapagos as first Dutch talent in the team, whereas we hope Matthew Walls can be our second sprinter for a while to come, once he is maxed. Hoole's development will require some more thinking work though. As seen in the table below, there are many options we could choose for the Dutchie. Although I like the thought of the Fabian development path, things could definitely be shaken up. Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Daan Hoole | 67 | 68 | 66 | 68 | 68 | 72 | 66 | 68 | 68 | 68 | 69 | 69 | 65 | 23 | | Daan Hoole | 74 | 71 | 69 | 71 | 72 | 76 | 70 | 71 | 71 | 74 | 76 | 72 | 68 | 26 | | Daan Hoole | 73 | 68 | 67 | 74 | 74 | 76 | 69 | 75 | 68 | 69 | 70 | 70 | 71 | 26 | | Matthew Walls | 70 | 61 | 60 | 60 | 70 | 68 | 68 | 61 | 75 | 74 | 60 | 63 | 69 | 24 | | Matthew Walls | 74 | 61 | 61 | 61 | 72 | 72 | 70 | 61 | 80 | 78 | 60 | 64 | 73 | 26 |
PT survival will be very hard, but we can at least give it a try. Nobody better to help us in that quest than two Dutch legends, once again making sponsor Galapagos very happy. First of all we signed Keizer in free agency for around 400k, whereas we also bought Philips' Kelderman. After performing a bit subpar his manager was not very fond of Wilco anymore, but we believe he might be able to prove himself in PT and be worth his decent wage. If we relegate and keep his wage around the same place, he should be a nice triple threat in PCT with Zmorka and Manninen. | Wilco Kelderman | 70 | 71 | 82 | 70 | 80 | 75 | 73 | 62 | 67 | 72 | 77 | 71 | 70 | 31 | | Martijn Keizer | 70 | 79 | 69 | 79 | 72 | 76 | 74 | 57 | 55 | 70 | 70 | 59 | 79 | 34 |

A Dutch invasion
The latter two should be great pieces to keep you in PT

Kelderman and Keizer are two good additions to your squad and combined with Zmorka and Manninen, you cover a ton of races with at least one strong leader. I like this approach!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Hoole looks like a light version of that other Dutch rider everyone keeps fighting for in FA
Great stuff with the incomings so far. Really hope Kelderman does much better in the PT than he did with us!!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I do indeed like that I should be somewhat competitive at most races, while also having a nice core of riders and talents for when we relegate.
Time for our next three riders! We love maxing up riders so much we decided to take in Gross and Nieuwenhuis from Puma this season. Galapagos was fine with this because Nieuwenhuis is yet another Dutchie in the squad, getting to number four already.
Gross was feeling lonely though, so Puma decided to send another German our way as well. Sütterlin will be our co-leader this year in the time trials and has been bought for the fee of 200k. Zmorka already replied he was happy with this, and he expects the German to outperform guys like Robert Stelly last year. Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Jasha Sütterlin | 71 | 59 | 65 | 80 | 73 | 77 | 67 | 56 | 59 | 60 | 76 | 73 | 80 | 30 | | Felix Gross | 70 | 60 | 60 | 62 | 66 | 72 | 66 | 61 | 74 | 75 | 60 | 60 | 62 | 24 | | Joris Nieuwenhuis | 75 | 64 | 69 | 60 | 69 | 73 | 65 | 70 | 73 | 75 | 62 | 76 | 60 | 24 |

I admit I was trying to convince cio to send Sütterlin my way, but it unfortunately wasn't to be So if he doesn't feel well integrated in your squad, or if he still doesn't match Zmorka's expectations, just hit us up
In all seriousness, obviously another great transfer for you, and I guess cio will have to watch out for your TTT squad now

Loving what you're doing, insane work! You got 4-5 leaders this year on low budget with nobody to sell, and also some very nice talents. I'm really impressed. Without a doubt you'll fight for the WT title in a couple of years if you perform as stellar as a manager as you did in your first years. Insane work!

Very nice build!
Getting Pira for 50K was a steal - a super bargain! I know he have some flaws, but a lot of that can be corrected through the stat exemption. +3 FL, +2TT, +3PRL can all be achieved that way for almost nothing, and then he's suddenly 66 in all of those without actually spending "any money"... Another path could be to switch a bit between CLv2 and Stage Racer, which I would imagine could give a boost in both TT and PRL while not taking too much from an already weak ACC/FIG.
I didn't know though that Galvan Ramirez would max out this strong. That's a super domestique!
Matthew Walls was also on my radar. A nice sprinting talent, whom btw should have 74REC and not just 70
Both Kelderman and Keizer are somewhat firm PT riders. Neither have had stellar times here, but their stat combinations really give no reason as to why they shouldn't have. With Sütterlin also mixing it up you seem to have a very solid core ready.

Your team looks very nice! The Latin American talents make a bit jealous, but not much since we can always talk in the future. You'll always have a fan here at Volcanica - Fox.
