Think this is very well done on renewals! Will be very interesting to see what you do from here. You're definitely in a position to push for back-to-back promotions, I think, as this is a fantastic core |

Lots of potential here for how you build off of that base to add the PCT firepower - think this could be the end of the yo-yo for sure! I might have some ideas for you come transfers
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

That Conci wage is absolutely mental
I remain of the opinion that this team can promote to PT if that's the direction you wish to go in.

We have always been a team with a philosophy of bringing young riders up through the ranks and developing them into riders who can ride with us for many years to come. That is no different this year.
Pau Miquel
Age: 22 | Pot: 4 | Lvl: 1.00
Wage: 60,000
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 67 | 66 | 69 | 58 | 70 | 72 | 68 | 61 | 63 | 65 | 65 | 67 | 58 | 70 | 69 | 77 | 59 | 77 | 76 | 71 | 61 | 64 | 70 | 70 | 68 | 59 |
We were able to sign the brightest Spanish talent of the year from the Free Agency uncontested on a wage of 60,000. He's not the most aggressive in his riding style so we see his role in the future as being a key part of the supporting cast.
Luis Fernando De La Cruz Chapulin
Age: 22 | Pot: 4 | Lvl: 1.00
Wage: 60,000
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 67 | 65 | 69 | 60 | 70 | 72 | 68 | 64 | 67 | 71 | 71 | 67 | 65 | 70 | 68 | 77 | 61 | 77 | 76 | 71 | 64 | 68 | 76 | 76 | 68 | 66 |
Luis Fernando is a talented young Mexican and although he is also a future Puncheur, he has the kick and the attacking nature which will make him a little different from Miquel. We expect he will fit into the team nicely with language not expected to be a barrier. He arrived uncontested from the Free Agency.
Leonardo Henrique Finkler
Age: 23 | Pot: 6 | Lvl: 3.04
Wage: 60,000
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 67 | 67 | 72 | 64 | 71 | 69 | 68 | 61 | 66 | 70 | 71 | 68 | 62 | 69 | 69 | 77 | 65 | 76 | 71 | 70 | 61 | 68 | 75 | 75 | 70 | 63 |
3 for 3 for riders who will be a part of our Hills department in the future. The difference will Finkler is that he's 23 and already only 2 years from completing his development. He was previously at Gjensidige but was released. We were able to pick him up from the Free Agency with only a minor bump. He becomes the latest addition LATAM in what is a strong growing contingent. |

We made a deal with Zwift Pro Cycling to take two of their riders on Loan.
Stewart is Lvl 2.50 and we will pay 30,000 of his 60,000 wage in return for supporting his development.
Zukowsky is Lvl 3.46 and we won't be paying any of his 50,000 wage but pay a fee to them in return for his services & development this season. We look forward to aggressive racing from the first Canadian to wear our jersey.
| | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | Jake Stewart | 71 | 62 | 69 | 68 | 67 | 71 | 63 | 69 | 70 | 70 | 66 | 67 | 70 | | Nickolas Zukowsky | 68 | 63 | 69 | 70 | 70 | 69 | 69 | 61 | 70 | 71 | 77 | 66 | 71 |
We also have 2 riders who will be going out on Loan.
Ovsyannikov is Lvl 4.11 and will be spending this season on Loan at Zwift Pro Cycling. We paid 55,000 in return for them paying his full 55,000 wage and supporting in his development. We have 2 options for his development and we're leaning towards Sprinter.
Thijssen is Lvl 4.02 and will be spending this season with Evonik - ELKO. We have paid 50,000 in return for them taking on his 50,000 wage and developing him into a top class sprinter.

Finkler has never been a part of Los Pollos but I was without a doubt his biggest fan at Gjensidige last season, Won a stage as a lvl 1 and also became Brazilian NC against tougher competition, already a legend and looking forward to him racing for you.
Pau is a nice talent, I'd have expected the other Spanish teams to go a bit deeper for him.
And then, el Chapu! After a long time ago our mother team had a certain El Chapo in their ranks and it went totally wrong, we couldn't take the risk again. We believe he has found a very nice home at Zara - Irizar, and we are already excited to lose like 75% of NC's against him for years to come. He certainly is a spicy talent.

That minor bump in getting Finkler was very close to being a major one.
I love the 3 youngsters joining your team and I'll be watching them with great interest. And although we find ourselves again head to head it's a competition I really enjoy.

@Nemolito: Thank you Sir! Finkler definitely the stand-out as it's not often you're able to sign unmaxed National Champions
@DarkWolf: Glad it remained minor in that case Appreciate the words of support. Looking forward to competing with you yet again!
@jandal7: Hey they're slightly different Too many Puncheur talents this year.
@Mresuperstar: I hope they enjoy their time with us! Would be cool to see them in the breakaway when they're not helping us win. |

Taaramäe Signs
Age: 35 | Pot: 6 | Lvl: 4.100
Wage: 550,000
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 71 | 81 | 74 | 77 | 73 | 74 | 70 | 50 | 56 | 70 | 66 | 66 | 75 |
Estonian Stage Racer, Rein Taaramäe, joins us from Evonik - ELKO to be our Stage Race Leader for the 2022 PCT Season.
He came at a price of $1,000,000 + Borisavljevic going the other way. We will have a separate piece for his departure.
We are expecting a big season from Rein who has an excellent supporting cast starring young Italian Nicola Conci who will be able to learn from the experience of the elder statesman. He will also have Enric Mas as a primary supporter as well.
Our hope is that Rein can propel us to quick success within the PCT! |

Goodbye Rein! Chased him for half a decade so a bit of a shame that he only was with us for one year but it did not make sense for us to keep him any longer. However, that one year was absolutely outstanding and he will be remembered as the legend that he is giving us our first GT victory.
I hope he matches your expectations and am looking forward to the Taaramae + Mas partnership!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Hugo Hofstetter Returns
Age: 28 | Pot: 4 | Lvl: 4.100
Wage: 85,000
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 74 | 62 | 70 | 64 | 71 | 71 | 75 | 73 | 77 | 78 | 71 | 68 | 66 |
Having spent his early years with the team, under the Euskaltel name, before being out on loan for a few years, we unfortunately parted ways with Hugo at the end of the 2020 season following our relegation to the Continental Tour. He found himself at Evonik in the Pro Tour last season.
Ultimately though, home is where the heart is and with his team happy to see him go, he was returned home from Evonik - ELKO for a fee of 425,000. He reunites with countrymen Cosnefroy and Thomas who he developed alongside and so we expect him to slot back into the team dynamic with ease.
With Thijssen going out on loan, he will be the key lead-out man for Jakobsen in the sprints this season. He is likely to have a few opportunities to go for his own glory as well. We expect he'll remain with the team for quite some time. |

Strong moves to improve an already strong squad. Should be a good season for you

Stage Win in 2017 Tour
Nico Keinath
Age: 35 | Pot: 6 | Lvl: 4.100
Wage: 50,000
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 70 | 75 | 72 | 71 | 71 | 70 | 67 | 55 | 58 | 64 | 67 | 59 | 71 |
A legend of World Cycling has been brought into the squad to help nurture our young talents and guide them on their way to becoming professional cyclists.
He finished 9th in the 2017 Tour de France and 10th in 2013 Giro d'Italia. He comes in specifically to mentor Nicola Conci who we see as having a big future and could do with the guidance of such a rider who has dealt with the glitz, glam and pressure for many years.
He still has the strength this season to be a solid supporting rider in the Mountains and in Stage Races and his role as Road Captain will provide great support to and take some pressure off of Taaramäe.
We look forward to seeing Nico training with the team and discussing all things cycling with our fans! |

Spaniard Joins
Marc Soler
Age: 29 | Pot: 6 | Lvl: 4.100
Wage: 80,000
FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | 69 | 76 | 71 | 74 | 76 | 74 | 76 | 54 | 54 | 66 | 60 | 61 | 77 |
The Spanish stage racer joins us from Polar for a fairly hefty fee of 500,000. His experience in the PT will be invaluable to to the team this season. His 80,000 wage is very reasonable given his age and skillset which means he will be able to remain with the team for the foreseeable future.
Marc is a rider strong both in the Mountains and in Time Trials with the ability to tough it out over long stage races as well. He will be a key supporter to all 3 of our leaders as well as an important part of the TTT squad to strengthen our GC ambitions. |

Really like the scope of how you've been able to add pieces to elevate the team, should be an easy survival on the menu for you this year!

@knockout: He definitely had a great season for you but you've also signed a great replacement. It's going to be a competitive division but I know Rein will shine through!
@redordead: Thank you mate! Looking forward to the competition
@AbhishkekLFC: Always good to bring in household-MG names!
@whitejersey: Appreciate the kind words. Going to be a fiercely competitive PCT but I like to think we've taken the right steps towards a successful season. I hope the same to you! |
