Hmm, definitely one of those where getting the lead out wasn't a good thing. But have recently had two stage wins from the other end of that deal so can't complain too much.
Hopefully the shuffling with the GC favorites plays in our favor and enjoyed the McCormick sprint train.

The frustration of having the main favourite
Jakobsen 5th at least keeps him in GC contention but he showed that he clearly had the speed to get a much better result.
Hopefully tomorrow is better for us!
Thanks for the report and some more very surprise sprint results

Excellent result for Marin! Here is hoping he keeps it up.
Thank you for the report and congratulations, Redordead!

David Dekker quietly getting himself involved for a Top15 with his 71SP And back-to-back breaks, the youngster are making an impression.

Nice to see Vanderbiest bounce back after his horrible sprint yesterday

Love having a favourite in the Sprints
Jakobsen doesn’t even try
Guess this one is a write off unfortunately.
Thank you for the reports though!

Keough much better today, really thought he was going to come through and win it. Third in the GC might be too high for him to play tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

A more down to earth performance for Marin, but perhaps in the last stage he could keep his top 10 in the GC or maybe even push to a top 5.
Congratulations, Laurens on the win and thank you very much for the report!

Looks like Rajovic will lose the leader's jersey on the last stage. Having it for two days was already plenty

Well, a bit better I suppose. AI seems to be favoring Meyer over Bennett!
Both Meyer and Nelson in striking distance of a good GC if they can get a good result tomorrow but I think our Top 3 goal is out the window. Definitely a lesson about sprinter goals!

Don't read if you still want to check the S3 results/final GC
Although the MG DB surely doesn't help, there is no excuse whatsoever for the sprint AI being this bad. On pcm 18 I noticed the yellow jersey not caring, but on pcm20 it becomes the top-5, which is shown in a picture I took during the final stage. The top-5 were all chilling together in the peloton, and by the time they 'realized' they had to sprint they were already miles behind, all sprinting on the same line. It's not like the race was packed with 24 sprinter teams all having 85 sprinters, so i don't blame the MG DB at all. Anyway, congratulations to those doing well

Well, guess I can't say it was a complete disaster with 3 riders ending up in Top 25 but it was close...and yeah the Sprint AI is bananas. I've started playing PCM 21 so I must see if I notice any difference
Great reports and congrats

As I feared for Keough, still one good stage and 9th on the GC isn't the end of the world. Better than Japan.
Thanks for the reports.

Glad to see the team at least get involved in the sprint even if Jakobsen was left to fight in the wind way too early and ended up 6th. 8th in the GC from his is certainly disappointing but coupled with 5th in Points and 2nd in U25 and we do at least score a few points here.
A very strange race indeed and wouldn’t ever think a PCT rider could win a C2 sprint race but congrats I suppose!
Thank you for the reports
