Lovely to see you rate us in 5th, as I respect your outlook towards the MG a lot, and I think what you wrote about us is very accurate. Very top heavy, with limited depth. I wanted to try and hold as many of my leaders as possible, but I recognized that they only have a few years left before decline, so wanted to bring in some replacements now. I'll hopefully be able to cut the wage budget a lot next year, to bring back the depth pieces to challenge for the PCT title.
I obviously hope we won't finish 23rd as you predict - and given how close everything will probably be, a lot should come down to clever planning and - obviously - luck.
To be honest, if Quintana only ends up #13 among the stage racers, I'll be disappointed. On the other hand, having Masnada as 16th seems a bit optimistic, but would obviously be very welcome
I agree that Moscon's competition has become much stronger, so it will be quite a challenge for him to repeat his results even in C1. On the other hand, if Reinhardt really ends up 22nd among the sprinters, I definitely messed up my renewals, given that he now has the 10th highest wage of the PCT sprinters. But given your love for RES, I can see where that prediciton comes from
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the season, and even if we should relegate, we've got a great base for the future to bounce back
