Why hate Colts?..that is to be theyr fan..nobody wasnt expected taht they win after regular season (almost weakest defence on the league)..but in playoff's magic starts. Still big man in the field after newborn defence is Manning..I wached that New orleans game..he is realy good.
NFL like sport..I like to wach it somethimes..(for me they enjoyng to much if they can hurt somebody - this is not show or fun for me)...
Madden - I was playing madden 06 and 07..now after trying 08..I have to say booring.
After all I am a classic fan...so football (soccer if you prefer that word) and cycling is for me.(also sports in europe 1 and 2) |

I don't like Colts as i don't like Manning, maybe stemple is the same?
but i do like that kick return guy with the orange boots
he scores a lot of kick return TD's, can't remember the name

I like falcons a lot too, even though its with a bad taste in your mouth after the Vick Disgrace...Feels a lot like watching Cycling :-)
Nah, its Falcons and Colts, with sympathy for Vikings as well. Both falcons and vikings are expected to suck this year, although Im not sure falcons wont rally...

A fantastic sport to follow, but also to play I guess eventhough I have never tried, but it looks awesome.
I'm hoping that the Ravens will come back from their dissapointing defeat to Colts in last year's divisional playoffs

I went with a friend to play it...once!
It was a lot of fun to play actually. didnt know what I was doing, but fun anyway. However, I learned, that a soft schoolteacher cant compete with tough handymen, who does hard phsyical work all day. They creamed me (and my friend).
We where both black and blue on arms, legs and pretty much sore everywhere else for most of the following week, and by silent consensus never went back.
Now give me a computer, and a joypad, and ill madden your ass, but not on a grassy field!

Since my football freak of a friend supports Carolina Panthers I am not allowed to support Brees and Bush... I really like both, so it's a bit of a loss. Vince Y is a nice fella too and as I watched Any Given Sunday yesterday I was reminded of the way he passes and runs the ball like a one-man-army.
But I don't feel like supportin the Titans. I don't know. And to me it's a bit too easy to support Pats or Colts because of their last decade of success. Well, not a decade, but... You know. Just like all the people who suddenly cheered at San D and LT/Merriman because they had a crazy season - not to mention Steelers and "The Bus" the season before that. |

Well VY was the reason I started to support the Titans aswell (Had 3 teams that I liked and since I already quite liked the Titans they made it 4, 2 AFC teams and 2 NSC teams)

Addy me and you were on the same page with manning, but i can't have you saying stuff about devin hester. That man went to my favorite team in all sports. The U (the univeristy of Miami). And even though he is not on my favorite pro team i support all former Canes.
And on Manning, i don't know if you guys have the same coverage we have here in the states, but i will tell you why i do, and why you should hate manning and the Colts. Payton Manning is a great QB, but he is not the greatest, as the media would have you believe. There was a man named Joe Montana, my boy hood idol. I don't know if you guys have ever seen him play, but Joe Montana was the greatest QB to ever play, and he is also considered the greatest player in the history of football. Payton Manning a notourius choke artist, who until this past year had never won the big game. In college nothing. The pros nothing, until the pats threw away the AFC championship game. And for all that don't know, any team from the NFC would have been an easy opponent in the SuperBowl. And even though Manning had never won anything all the media kisses his ass and tells him how great he is. Even though Tom Brady had won 3 superbowls, he doesn't get near the credit Manning gets for doing nothing. He is a Self-centered ass that only cares about himself. He uses up the majority of the salary cap, thereby not allowing them to spend money to get him a good defense, as opposed to Tom Brady who took less money so the team could sign some free agents. I remember the year before last, when they got knocked out of the playoffs he was there blaming his offensive line. And all the commercials, he is just an ass. A nice guy mind you, but an ass. And that is why i hate him and the colts, and why you should hate them too.

We dont have the same coverage. We as general dont get to see interviews. We sure, luckily, dont see the commercials.
All we can judge an athlete on is his on field performance. and frankly, I see non beter than P. Manning.
The patriots is the best team in the NFL,no doubt. Constantly making who-dats into probowlers, Rescuing carreers right left and center and they are led by the very best coach in the league, and one hell of a QB.
But in my opinion Brady leads a much better team, and as such is under a lot less pressure than manning. When Brady has a bad day, which happens seldom, he can trust his defense to rescue him and they usually do.
Now when manning has a bad day at the office, Colts usually loose! He leads an offense that KNOW they need to score 40 in every game, to be certain of a win. Sometimes less is enough, but only because they knockout their opponent, who simply give up.
Its going to be interesting to see how Manning reacts now he has his Ring - will heloose his hunger? has he got the Choke demon off his back? In thursdays game, he lookedstrong, fit an focúsed and the saints made a SPLAT! sound..
The Colts offense is simply the best there is, and proves that sometime offense DO win championships. they are not my favourite team, but they are the team I enjoy most to watch, simply because their offense is so good.
I fully understand that feeling rule sport, and that you can hate a player, even though he is good.
oh and btw, I cant take the "I get no respect" seriously, when you are 2 time MVP of the supebowl, on a team everyone and their mother tips for the superbowl every year...
oh yeah, and Manning isnt the best there ever was. You can only tell something like that if you look at full careers.

Yes I remember that 49-rs. nr. 16..he was my favorite also...
About Brady..he is a play off king..If play off starts he can always to something great..this is not depanding how good or bad he's season has been.
Payton knows how to play this came...he is now in spotlight..that's why people hate or love him. |

why did i think you said that you didn't like hester. Odd. I guess i just misread it as i sometimes do when my brain is moving a mile a minute. I love hester not only because of my allegiances to the university of Miami, but also because he is one of the most electrifying players on the field.

In Denmark, NFL started on a small channel, which a lot of people couldnt see. and they showed one game a week.
Slowly, over 3-5 years, they gained loads of viewers, and also started showing the early game sunday.
The for the last 2-3 years its really taken off, with the expert-presenter, gaining a steady job at the national TV, and monday night being shown as well. TV2 started recognizing that they might have something good.
and then the right were sold til a commercial cable channel.
Just when we thought this was hell in earth, a new channel opened, and the presenter team got hired back for that, and now we have 3 games on sunday, and monday night as well. on two channels, but since I have both, im in heaven!
oh, well, gotta go see the Pat-Jets game now. pretty sure Pats will win, but jets should put up a fight
