Of the 6 main teams in the race, only Benfica scored less than 100 points (they got 85), which just goes to show the merits of racing in smaller fields.
Pluchkin may have been disappointing but 6th overall plus 2 wins for De Gendt and points for Keinath and Mestre allow B&O to extend their lead by 111 points. LA/MSS/Pearl Jam move ahead of Slipstream and are now 4th, closing in on Fed-Ex, while Procycling are up to 6th.
Molteni replace British Airways in the top 10 while Benfica rise one spot to 12th and Gatorade are at last showing signs of a resurgence, leaping from 17th to 14th.

Well Pluchkin can't do well at them all I guess, but I'm still quite happy with this race as Keinath again shows some of his future abilities finishing in the top 20. 111 points were more than I could hope for
