Amgen Tour of California
Stage 3:
img233.imageshack.us/img233/3448/cal2oa9.jpg
The queen stage, and probably one of the best stages for our captain Gesink.

Gesink attacks with only 2.5 kilometer's to the top.
img397.imageshack.us/img397/2032/pcm0076pd7.png
And Gesink is first on the summit!
img413.imageshack.us/img413/8984/pcm0077wi6.png
But there is a group with about 10 man behind him, so they got him back.
img504.imageshack.us/img504/9836/pcm0079rs0.png
He attacks with 3km to go! But it probably won't work, the others are better sprinters.
img220.imageshack.us/img220/4521/pcm0082th4.png
No, Kirchen wins. Gesink is 4th and the new leader in the young riders clasement.

There are ways to salvage save games, sean.

Try a search of the site - Lachi posted some things you could try a while back.

Paris - Nice
Stage 1: ITT Amily 7km

The prologue of this years Paris - Nice is in Amily, a city south of Paris. We'll try to win this race with our capian Gesink, who is in decent shape. Also Niermann and Weening are in very good shape. We'll see what this timetrial brings us.

The first Rabobank cyclist is Weening, he sets a very good time! He only lost 9 seconds to Lövkvist, who settled a incredibly fast time.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0001.jpg

World champion Grabsch sets a very disapointing 7th place so far. Look at that face, he realy tried hard.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0002.jpg

One of our tallents: Kai Reus. He settled a very good time for his doings.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0003.jpg

Then its our capitain Gesink who is turning to the finish line! He lost 12 seconds, thats quite good.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0004.jpg

Then Niermann settled a incredibly fast time, and he's third so far!

The final Rabobank cyclist of the day is Ten Dam, he lost 10 seconds.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0005.jpg

The only one who is still able to beat Lövkvist is Mcgee. He looks very focused.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0006.jpg

But its Lövkvist who wins the prologue of this years Paris - Nice. Great job by Niermann, who finished 3th.

i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0009.jpg

Today favours the sprinters, we'll try to be in a long break-away, so we can get the mountain jersey.

Another rainy day in France, but as a dutch team, the riders should be used to it.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0010.jpg

De Maar tried to be in the break today, with a little bit of luck we could get the mountain yersey.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0011.jpg

He leads with a Japanese Skil-Rider, but there are more attacks comming from behind.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0012.jpg

He couldn't follow the attacks, but on a little hill, he tries to jump to the lead group.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0013.jpg

It was quite an exercise, but he managed to get into the front. There are 4 leaders now.i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0014.jpg

In the peloton, one of the stage favourites falls. It's Sebastian Chavanel, the Frenchman gets 2 teammates to get him back into the pack.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0015.jpg

De Maar wins the mountain sprint! So he'll be in the polkadot jersey tomorrow.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0016.jpg

And his adventure stops here, alone against the pack is a undoable thing.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0018.jpg

Then Hincapie falls! The number 2 of the classement will lose time today.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0019.jpg

Niermann brings Martens to the front. It's going to be a weird sprint. A lot of the favourites fell in the last few kilometers.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0020.jpg

Martens had the wheel of Hushovt! But the Norwegian sprinter started to sprint from very far, so he coulden't keep his wheel, but maybe he can get a top-10 position.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0022.jpg

It's Hushovt who wins the stage, in front of Casper and Weyland. Martens is 6th!
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0023.jpg

Lövkvist still leads, Niermann is second and Martens third.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0025.jpg

Stage:
1. Hushovd
2. Casper
3. Weyland
4. Fischer
5. Napolitano
6. Martens
7. Vaitkus
8. Valverde
9. Clerc
10. Greipel

Win what? We don't have a sprinter if you mean the stage, but for the overal we might have a chance.

Edit: 6th place in the stage is quite alright i think.

Paris - Nice
Stage 3: Nevers - Belleville
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0029.jpg

Today a hilly stage, probably a good one for a breakaway. But there is still a chance for the sprinters.

Martens wears green!
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0030.jpg

And De Maar wears the mountain jersey.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0031.jpg

Kai Reus is in a huge breakaway, he doesn't work. He saves a little bit for the last part of the race.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0038.jpg

He won the first mountain sprint, and now he's breaking away for the second one.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0041.jpg

Then the final climb, he has won al the sprints so far, but he wants to sure of the jersey. So he attacks.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0045.jpg

But a fairly unknown rider from the cofidis team wins this one, and now he is going on for the stage.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0046.jpg

On the final hill, Cunego and Valverde attack. Just over the top, Gesink joins them.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0048.jpg

Hary wins! A surprise. Gesink and Reus finish in the second group as 5th and 6th.
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0050.jpg

Gesink leads! but Cunego and Mcgee follow at only 0 seconds.... Reus is 4th on 1 second. How close can it be?
i366.photobucket.com/albums/oo108/martenssean/PCM0052.jpg

Stage:
1. Hary
2. Mcgee
3. Cunego
4. Joly
5. Gesink
6. Reus

7. Pineau
8. Burghardt
9. Valverde
10. Mizourov

GC:
1. Gesink
2. Mcgee +0
3. Cunego +0
4. Reus +1
5. Burghardt +15
6. Pineau +23
7. Hary +24
