That's the spirit rjc!! He's clean, the fact that his times dropped immensely the moment the jamaican federation cancelled all testing is a simple coincidence!!
right on
Yeah The psychological advantage gained from him knowing he's not going to produce a non-false negative, or a non-negative positively negative result meant he's now the best

Poor bastards don't even have the right to choose.
And check Usain Bolt's videos on youtube, his behaviour is ridiculous, he looks like a 13 year old behaving like a gangster rapper.
I didn't like his behaviour on the lineup presentation of the 100 meters; I didn't like the Trinidad&Tobago guy; and I didn't like Walter Dickhead with his sunglasses on either. Funny how they did 1st, 2nd and 3rd. It pays to be a jerk. |

Why , if most of you guys (and girls?) are so cynical about drug taking in all sports, do you still watch and love cycling????
I've got to admit that if I was so cynical about everyone taking part in this sport then I'd go and support something else (or not watch anything at all). Lets face it, cycling is not the sport to watch if you want to avoid drug scandals!
My own personal point of view is that I love the sport and I hope and pray that the guys who perform well in it (contador, sastre, cav, hoy, cooke etc.) are clean and just plain good! I support ASO, WADA, BOA, etc who strive for a cleaner sport and advocate life bans for dopers (but I admit that is a difficult subject). I get almost as much pleasure from seeing a scum bag like Ricco getting caught as I do from seeing satre master a climb like l'Alp and own the other riders. |

yes we still love that sport..that why we are here..
But we aint also blinided with "russian propaganda"...there is still lot of doping almost in any sport. When big race starts i forget any problems..and enjoying 100%...and then bang!! antoher doping story.
Sometimes I am happy ..when cocky bastards like Ricco get caught..sometimes i am realy dissapointed...depressed.
Then another great race and i can enjoy again..stupid eh? |

Think I'm with you Guido, I'm a live for the moment sort of person. I love the big races.
I just worry we're all too cynical sometimes, as the saying goes "Sometimes you don't know what you've got till it's gone.". I worry we'll miss something (or someone) rather special. |

I don't think the GB riders are "doping".
Think if the Rob Hayles story taught us anything, it was that their "health" is managed very similarly to teams like Astana and CSC. |

The horse of the norwegian who secured the bronze for us in the hosrse jumping (dunno what its called ) got a positive doping test. "I have no idea what have happened", "It must be a mistake" etc. F*ckin idiot.. The whole team will lose their medal if the B-test also is positive.
Edit: Oh, didn't see that this is a thread for Cycling. Thought it was for the Olympic Games

A comment to the first post: It's hard and difficult to believe in the "extraordinary efforts" when pretty much everyone who have been doing them have been tested positive (Ricco, Sella, partly Piepoli, etc.). |
