Not really the availability list that I was hoping to see, but I am sure we could figure something out come transfers on the loan end.

I'm very happy to see Wilco will be able to stay and help you rebounce!
Havik is an interesting rider for all divisions, but I'd assume other teams will have him much higher on their priority lists.
The main focus of renewals was to keep Wilco, followed by Inkelaar and Eenkhoorn. I'm happy too that we got them all to stay. It's redemption time I guess.
Happy to discuss anything that you might on your mind regarding Havik. Looks like he will be a victim of our relegation despite the nationality match.

Wilco in the CT... he'll be almost as good as Roux
Really exciting moving and shaking to be done for you to try and bounce back, and I'm sure you can do it - that renewals was a pretty great start it looks like. Even with the two riders who will move on, Kelderman backed up by Van Lergebergeheberge and Bardet is a great start to build off of.
Wilco has some work on his hands if he is to match Roux
Quite happy with renewals, with only Wippert going rogue. But we were happy at the end. Wilco and Van Lerbergbergberg are planned to be the designated leaders, and hoping that Bardet can recapture some of his form from our first season

Love that you stick with Wilco. Hope he will lead you to a dominant promotion campaign and stay as face of the team for the foreseeable future.
That's the plan!

Happy to talk about all things transfers when the window opens. Would like to sort out our loans too, so that's welcome.
Looking forward to it...

Maybe we can have some productive talks

(Transfer) Season of Reckoning for Philips
It's been a difficult 11 months at Philips HQ. The last transfer window was quite the opposite. The signing of Kelderman as a team leader was a great moment for the backroom staff, with a couple of months of planning paying off in a big way. More signings came in to support him and more.
However, the season did not go as planned and they ended up relegating at the end of a long and arduous season. Now, having come full circle from their first season in the CT, the stand on the cusp of perhaps the most important transfer window and season in their history. While they were able to extend their sponsorship with Philips for another season, this is definitely do-or-die when it comes the future of the team in it's current avatar. A promotion push was the minimum requirement for them, and holding on to their Dutch core was the other prime target.
They have achieved the first part of those requirements, in keeping Kelderman, Inkelaar, Eenkhoorn, Havik and more post renewals. Now the harder part begins - building a team capable of challenging for promotion.
Talking about Kelderman, one must feel for the Dutch puncher, going from a Pro Tour world beater, and World Champion, to a team battling relegation in the lower division, and eventually losing that battle. While he has accepted the team's renewal offer and looks to be staying for the time being, one must wonder if he too is having second thoughts! Even if he stays, this must be a one-off season for him in the Continental division, as he would probably like to get back to the dizzying heights that he has already reached in his career.
Kelderman winning Stage 1 of the Tour of South Africa last year.
Renewals have gone well for the team, with the notable exception of Wippert going rogue. Can they build on this and challenge for an immediate promotion back to PCT? Or will they fall into the same trap as last season, trying to make too many changes, and end up burning their own fingers? The next two weeks will go a long way in deciding the fate of this team for the near-future.

It has been a quiet and perhaps the least hectic start to transfers in the team's four year history. We have stayed away from Free Agency and instead focused on negotiations to build a team likely to challenge for promotion. However, we did make one FA bid, and we have been successful, the details of which are given below.
Ide Schelling | Talent | Level: 1.00
Age: 22 | Wage: 50,000 | Pot: 5 Our first signing of the season is the Free Agency capture of young Dutch climbing talent, Ide Schelling. He adds to the presence of youngsters Inkelaar and Eenkhoorn in our team, keeping alive the tradition of our recruitment of exciting Dutch talent.

Didnt notice him in the DB but he is quite nice
I probably would go for a mix of climberv1 and stage racer although any of the two options would be fine.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

@knockout: When finding 2-3 talents to bid on because of obvious wage reasons, it was a necessity to look for those likely to be ignored Glad we could get him. Let's see how training goes, still some time for that.
@SotD: Yeah I like him too. Fits us nicely too as Inkelaar and Eenkhoorn understudy. Haven't really looked at training properly and if any of the combinations is better. Have the full season to ponder over that

@ redordead: That is mostly where we targeted to strengthen and happy it worked out
@ Nemolito: Those were some of the things that attracted us too!
Another day, another signing announcement, this time a loan-in.
Michael Storer | Talent
Age: 23 | Wage: 25,000 | Loan-In We reached out to our friends at Bennelong to take their future puncher talent on loan, to shore up Kelderman's train. We wanted to share the wages of the rider for the season. They agreed and here we are! We believe despite still being a rider under development, Storer has enough skills in him to contribute positively to our efforts.

@jandal: Good things come in small (wage) packages?
@tsmoha: Happy to have him. You can be sure that he'll be following Kelderman around in all his races. Good place to learn from I guess
@knockout: That was the idea

In the first three years of our existence, only one Australian rider has been a part of our team - Miles Scotson was a loan-in back in 2017. In a space of two days, we've managed to triple that!
Calvin Watson | Puncher
Age: 27 | Wage: 50,000 | Fee: 320,000 The perfect min-wage Kelderman domestique does not exi...
We found him! The man who will be responsible for protecting and delivering Kelderman into the best positions in all of the former's races has arrived. Once again, we reached out to Bennelong when we found out about Calvin's availability and were able to sort out a deal in a flash. We have high hopes from this particular recruitment and with his age, this is also an investment for the considerable future.

Wow, great signing for you! Pretty much the only CT team I really fear in hilly races has just gotten even stronger... Looking forward to some good fights, though - and pretty sure you'll return to PCT with this team
