I have my shaders on medium, when they were on very high, which looked nice the game crashed alot earlier. But seriously these things dont bother me, things that do bother me is when you come to the the finish line of stage two in the tour de mallorca and about to come 1 & 2 with Wrolich and Haussler in your career and it CRASHES I was going to destroy my computor but i decided against that course of action

do me a favor. go into the graphics options and uncheck the "full screen" option.
exit and re-enter the game. keep playing like this (windowed mode) and tell me if it still crashes. I'm curious as to what the cause is.

It even looks like the Discovery rider is trying to avoid him. |

Maybe it's Hushovd I can't imagine another C.A rider being so infront of the peleton in a mass sprint. |

If that discovery rider was trying to avoid him he might find a barrier impaled in his head soon |

That picture turned out a bit squeshed
Lol the reason for the wording is because of the british and french battle
If anything ive mastered the art of mountain points won
This was a picture of van hecke winning, dont ask me why i took it cause i dont know
This time serrano took it away from me and clement, although i wasnt trying

Know i want to get on with explaining my sprint problems!
Here we have lang and fothen in a great position when they start the sprint but look what happens.....
Fothen is immediatly dropped because of his sprint stats 56 OUCH! But lang has good stats and he is also dropped
This is the finish and lang finishes way back. I dont know what to do, i sprint aggressively and at 99%, and its starting to get annoying!

Hi Karl. Sprinting takes lots of practice and skill so don't get frustrated. i don't think that there is anything wrong with the PCM 2007 sprinting system compared to PCM 2006. I've been able to win 3D sprints with Ventoso on PCM 2007 on Hard level in Career mode. So that means you can too!
A couple of things to consider:
1) Lang may be following a slow train. If that's the case, you have to act quick and switch to a faster one. To get higher placements, try following a top notch sprinter (Petacchi, Boonen, Hushovd). If they are in good shape and are in a fast train, you can usually follow them to a top 10.
2) You might be getting bumped off the wheel of the guy you are following. You have to watch your status icons carefully. If your "follow" icon switches off, then you've been bumped and have to quickly try and get back on. Even on aggressive, you can get bumped.
3) If you are playing career mode and have poor fitness, you'll get beaten by riders with weaker sprint stats. Fitness, fitness, fitness. It makes all the difference in the world.
4) I don't know Lang's stats offhand but I thought he was more of a flat rouleur guy. Anyway, if you have sprint stats lower that 75, I wouldn't expect to win a 3D race with a guy unless you are playing on Normal mode. Need to have at least 75 to have a chance on Hard.
So those are some thoughts to help your sprinting. Good luck!

Karl, cmfos is right. Lang is a horrible sprinter, regardless of the DB you're using.
also, how well your guy made it through the stage will have a big impact on how he sprints. if he has one red bar, he won't be as good. if he has two, even worse. if he has no blue bar, forget it.

Ok i understand the part about lang but what about this?
On this stage i really wanted to push schumacher for the KOTM. Here you can see him take the first mountain points:
The next KOtm points went to a lower ranked rider as i was making his fitness go up a bit
He then took the final KOTM points and was in good form +3. So i kept him at the front and in the race for the win. I made him follow brochard from bouyges...
But obviously i didnt make him follow and i just made schumacher sprint....
And you can see for yourself the outcome. I play on normal.

OK sorted i just played the stage and boy was i nervous, i might have a siezure when i come to the TDF
As i said i sent a man away in a break early on to stretch the pack, and hiekmann did a great job, picking up some KOTM points on the way ( he was level at the end but came second in the rankings)
As you can see he was doing well, but the origional group of 5 were full of W****** (exuse my french) and they attacked constantly, and one didnt take turns so eventually he was dropped for doing too much work
Immediatly the break was caught (what a surprise) and i followed advice from other members(SP, Issoisso, cmfos) i attacked at 15km but he didnt get a big enough lead until 10 and he kept it !
Great win, but i only got 36 seconds and it wasnt enough, i took third, points jersey, U-25 jersey and my sponsers gave me a 1 star for happyness
