Stage 1/3:

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO1.png
Squad: Simeoni (L), Trentin (FR), Brambilla (SP), Angeloni, Duma, Cortinovis, Ulissi

First stage of this tour ends in a bunchsprint, since the sprinting field is quite weak the battle for todays win is between Balducci, ONgarato and Gardeyn with the win going to...

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GROGARWIN.png
Gorik Gardeyn

Result:

Stage 2/3:

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO2.png

The most interesting stage of this tour, after the big climb we have a group of 14, with 3 Flaminia's in it! Both of our leaders (Trentin, Simeoni) are in there with Angeloni being surprisingly strong (he ended last yesterday  )

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO2BRE.png
Group of 14 with 3 Flaminia's in it!

Now its time to take advantage of that situation

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO2ANG.png
Angeloni going for the stagewin as Simeoni forces Gardeyn to make a move!

No wait whats this, Angeloni seems tired and therefore seems to serve as a helper for Simeoni who is ready to be launched by his teammate Angeloni..one problem though

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO2ANG2.png
Nicolas Roche is onto Simeoni and Angeloni!

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO2SPR.png
Its a battle between Simeoni and Roche now!

Roche is the better sprinter and slowly rides away from Simeoni, but he has the longer breath and quickly gains back terrain...!

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO2ROCHE.png
But Roche just makes it and takes over the lead, Simeoni is 3rd overall now

Result:

01. i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/IRE.png Nicolas Roche Crédit Agricole 3h45'47
02. i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/ITA.png Filippo Simeoni Ceramica Flaminia - Bossini Docce s.t.

10. i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/ITA.png Adriano Angeloni Ceramica Flaminia - Bossini Docce s.t.

Stage 3/3:

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO3.png

The final stage ends in a boring bunchsprint where Brambilla does a good job ending 6th. Meanwhile Trentin wins some places as he participates in the sprint and ends 7th overall. Simeoni gets a podium place as he ends 3rd overall here!

i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/GRO3WIN.png
Oh yea, and the final sprint was won by Gavazzi!

Result:

01. i49.photobucket.com/albums/f300/justinwk/ITA.png Francesco Gavazzi Lampre 2h54'54
