Wait, you're telling me that was a race? I did wonder why our training ride seemed a bit crowded. Oh well, I guess we are starting off where we belong, hopefully it doesn't stay 0 points for too long though.
It mirrors last year's Kulczyk performance earlier on in the season, before the cobbles got up and running.
However, slightly better in that we now have a legit GC contender in the hills in Vakoc. Abal has been disappointing, but we have a long season to go...
Congrats to some of the newly promoted teams on their stellar performance so far, Beltran looks to be an outstanding purchase by Swisslion and Guarnieri was a stud again. Martin as well for Campari, and it's clear the new managers have added an additional level of savvy to the PCT this year.
Well done guys and looking forward to another competitive year. I would imagine at this rate, we'll need to luck into a few results to achieve our promotion goal...
Considering our DUC appearnce was a zero-pointer, this looks very healthy for ISA - Hexacta. As requested the lads have set off at a healthy run-rate for 6 RD's in January. Very early days as reflected by the topsy-turvy rankings list overall. Points on the board early doors though are highly valued. February will see more of a shake out as the classic and puncheur races start to also contribute.
Thanks to Roturn for the update, and congrats to those at the top. Expect big shake up of rankings continuously throughout the first few months of the season until longer term performance trends start to show through. Hopefully this will reflect well on ISA - Hexacta rather than January being perceived as the seasons high water level.
