I will laugh quite a lot if Caruso ends infront of Pozzovivo in this Giro - We had quite a fight to get him, and I ended up getting your leftovers
Well, I did everything to make sure you didn't get Caruso either, but that part of the plan failed. |

x2
The prologue was a TTT right? I'm going for the win there + one or two stages with Bennati + a few with Cunego + the other TT's with Rogers.
I migth be able to win 10 stages in the end |

You are pretty well placed in the Pro Tour ranks aren't you? |

If sella does Podium then Nibali has a chance of top 5......

Nibali SHOULD do atleast 6th imo...
I'd say something like this:
1 Damiano Cunego
2 Riccardo Ricco
3 Emanuele Sella
4 Franco Pellizotti
5 Domenico Pozzovivo
6 Vincenzo Nibali
7 Gianpaolo Caruso
8 Bernhard Kohl
9 ?? Ghisalberti
10 Igor Anton
Atleast from what i've heard so far. There can be others aswell ofcourse |

BTW. Will the rankings be updated soon? We are heading into a new month before the end of the next PT race right? I wanna see if I'm still first... I really doubt it to be honest. I feel someone coming in close now... |

I made som very fast, and probably not 100 % correct calculations for this month. It can only be used as a guideline, as everything needs to be checked...
This months highscorer, as no surprise, atleast not AFTER the races: Philips - Hummel with Michael Boogerd in the frontline. 2 teams managed not to score a single point, Credit Lyonnais and Sony Ericsson. Here's the list:
PHILIPS - HUMMEL 145
DOMINA VACANZE 141
WARNER BROTHERS 130
FESTINA 120
MAPEI 115
LA GAZETTA DELLO SPORT 87
FRANCE TELEVISION 78
ACCUMALUX 77
MAGENTA 75
WIKIPEDIA 70
AMERICAN SUZUKI 50
CARLSBERG 46
VIRGIN MEDIA 10
EUROSPORT 5
NINTENDO 4
ERSTE 1
CREDIT LYONNAIS 0
SONY ERICSSON 0
Note that the 3 best teams are not placed in the top before this month, that will be a change for sure.
Here's the list after this month:
1 Festina 369
2 Accumalux-Formex 307
3 Warner Brothers 255
-------------------------------------------
4 Virgin Media Pro Cycling Team 223
5 France Televisions 221
6 Wikipedia 216
7 Philips-Hummel 214
8 Magenta All Stars 209
9 La Gazetta Dello Sport 200
10 Domina Vacanze 198
11 Carlsberg 190
-------------------------------------------
12 Nintendo-Honda 125
13 Mapei 118
14 American Suzuki 106
15 Erste 101
16 Credit Lyonnais 69
-------------------------------------------
17 Sony Ericsson 69
18 Eurosport 1
There are a couple of things to note... Festina has gotten a bigger gap to the nearest competitors Accumalux and Warner Brothers (Eventhough they were further behind before)
Another thing, and this is interesting is that 3rd to 11th place is divided in only 33pts... That is desperately close! And the final thing to look at is the fact that Eurosport has only gotten 1 single point so far this season. It will prove fairly difficult to take that much back as needed already this early in the competition. The next update should prove an even larger change as we move into the first GT action. |

147 points from relegation
Hope fully Carrara can get a few good stage results, maybe if I'm lucky a decent overall placing

With Pozzovivo, I expect some points in this Giro too. There's no reason to forget Gazetta, though, as they will - as always - dominate completely. |
