Yeah Saunier-Duval have pulled out.
What a complete idiot, does this mean his stage victory will be taken off him like it was for Vino last year? |

This is one of the great thing about the tour: It has the best racing of the year, and it is the most effective race at finding out who dopes.

Directeur sportif Joxean Fernandez Matxin was surprised as anybody. "We only found out ten minutes ago. The entire team is ceasing its operation, not only in the Tour de France."
What's that supposed to mean? Hopefully Saunier aren't pulling their sponsorship? i liked their jerseys
Ricco - caught = me very habby

HE IS INNOCENT. These allegations are false. I mean he doesnt act like he is doped.

I don't trust anyone now. Even the "new generation". Yeah, new generation of drugs... which obviously they can find in riders.

But seriously, the team manager must be aware of this. That's whats buggs me the most, that they gets away by just saying: "Oh, I didn't know!"
Get real!

The leaders in the climbing competition... after the first set of mountains... are from Gerolsteiner????
Kohl and Lang... just seems odd.
It's going to be more annoying with Ricco being caught. When someone like Vino or Landis who's nearing the end of their career gets caught, the two year ban often means we won't ever have to see them again.
Ricco will be seen again... he's too young. We'll be forced to face the whole "is he or isn't he doped" dilemma for the next 10 years after he gets back. |

its good news because the test worked for a "new generation of EPO", and I was already convinced Ricco was doped. But I'm still pretty pissed at Ricco.
And Lang and Kohl dont seem too suspicous. I mean Lang won most of the points from a solo break.

Now I am only awaiting Piepoli and Acebo's positive tests. Saunier Duval has been suspicious for a long time and I am pretty sure they have organized doping in their team.
Reports say they know Micera was used under the Giro, but they couldn't get a validated positive test. Now they have one in the Tour de France, and police were seen carrying bags away from the Saunier Duval bus.
The only reason Saunier Duval would fold completely from cycling, which they have said they have done, is that the team has been organizing doping and they know Piepoli and Acebo will be caught when their tests are finally analyzed.
Good riddance.

Ricco was a known doper in his youth period already, so he is the old generation |

Well, this test isn't validated yet.
But good another dopers gone, especially with a newer drug which, without an approved test, Ricco must have thought he'd be able to get away with it. Damn good from ASO that.

like said before i think there is doping organised by the team there. isn't it strange they pulled the entire team back...
its not like liquigas and barloworld have given up.
i think a lot of 'good 'climbers will start to suck as they know it can be detected.
sella and pozzovivo for instance. in other words the entire CSF group
with pain in the heart i should mention van den broeck too
other people i suspect are
Kohl ( a good climber but that good ???. i find that hard to believe)
Vandevelde ( since can he climb like that )
Efimkin ( since he rode away in the downhill of the aspin)
Botcharov (what is that oldtimer doing Oo)
F. schleck perhaps, im not sure about this one
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around
RIP WW. Gone but not forgotten

I can't understand why you even mention van den broeck, Kohn, Vandevelde, Efimkin, Botcharov and F. Schleck. None of them have ever been suspicious or had any suspicious results. Kohl has progressed each year, and perhaps he is doing better this year because it's a cleaner tour, you know clean riders ride better when the dopers aren't doping anymore. Same goes for Efimkin and Frank Schleck, they have progressed each year. Why do you even mention Botcharov, wtf has he done in this tour?
Cyclingnews.com writes that the doping-hunters know that Mircera was used in the Giro but they couldn't get a validated positive test. Either the French antidoping agency has found a way to catch them, or the police found Mircera on the Saunier Duval bus, where police carried away bags of items.
I suspect the Saunier Duval team has engaged in organized doping for a long time and that is the reason they have folded. Piepoli has been suspicious a long, long time. Mayo was caught last season.
Ricco's positive test was after the Time Trial. I think we will see more positive tests in the next days, Piepoli and Acebo.
The Giro was probably full of doping this year, but the Italians seem unwilling to fight the problem. Sella and the Navigare team were probably filled to the brink with doping. |

i don't know vandevelde. the years before this year he always got dropped quite fast.
i mean very fast
F. schleck didn't do to good last year too. thats why i have a bit of doubts. perhaps about kohl you're right.
but efimkin????
what did he ever do good in the moutains. and don't say the tour the suisse. devolder was there 3rd and look at devolder now
now i see botcharov was in the break last year . my bad
