Well that has certainly whittled down the size of the peloton behind. Looks like Trentin, Woods and Kwiatkowski are in for a battle to close the gap at the moment.

Woods back in the chasing reduced peloton. Just Trentin and Kwiatkowski trying to bridge across to Fuglsang and Alaphillipe. ~17" gap from Fug\Ala back to Kwi\Tre, with ~46" back to the chasing peloton.
No Valverde in the peloton.

They might have to put a hold on the stretch battles for a moment if they don't want a group of four. Trentin and Kwiatkowski have slowly closed the gap to within about 10 seconds.
