Yes, but so is LBL compared to la Fleche.
And off topic, I'm not saying that I don't like PR, but RvV is way more fun to watch. This year I wanted to go visit some friends one of the weekends in April and luckily I was able to plan it during to PR weekend, so I didn't have to miss RvV, Amstel (I'm from Holland) and LBL. |

Depends how you define watch - Id much rather watch PR on TV than RVV - anyway, syop going on and on about route selection, if you want to talk about which classic is the best, make a thread in the cycling subforum.
if you want something to discuss here, then try and guess who you think might do well. Personally, I think Stijn Devolder has got a good chance.

i think too devolder may be the biggest favorite. im wondering about how the ai would handle the protection of the captain when the cobbles comes. i hope they will protect the gc leader and not the dude they think can take the stage. however when thats been said. i dont really care about that since i dont think kirchen has any chance of winning this overall, hoping for an top10 position tho. |

Yes, Carlos Barredo - who is a teammate of Devolder. A_Schleck really did make a good choice

I understand that you have an other impression, but I've said what I wanted to say about the route selection in the first post and your reaction was clear. So the other reactions were more to plug RvV, which in my opinion is the most exciting classic to watch on TV.
But as you said enough about that.
There are a lot of climbs, so I think the best climber will win, despite the PR route. But it will be fun to see how it will unfold. |

hope devolder fail mightly in TTT and get left behind in the mountains then. helpriders really should have more functions than just good in one point if you aim to win GC here. i think voigt also could do well in this race. (he got decent cobblestats right?)

Theres another factor that I havent mentioned yet - time gaps will be at 0 for all stages. So a rider finishing at the front of the peleton on the Champs Elysses stage will be gaining at least a minute on those at the back of the peleton.

I just looked at the database viewer and I think Evans has a good chance to win it. He has the best cobble stat (64) of the riders that have a mountain stat of 80 or more. He also has a hill stat of 80. |

As the best ones appear to be taken allready, I call Gerolsteiner
Stephan Schumacher
David Rebellin
Bernard Kohl
Robert Förster
Heinrich Haussler
Fabian Wegmann
Sebastian Lang
Markus Fothen
Markus Zberg
The team goal will be a stage win, most likely in on of the hilly stages.
The second-to-final stage will f*** up the hole classification, nearly all the guys that are in the top 10 will quit the stage or loose bucketloads of time.
