Nice win for Meyer, who looks set to get his second consecutive GC victory. I've said it before, but his addition was great for Stobart and the race planning seems to work better than last year's "interesting" schedule for Suaza
Also nice to see Gunman doing quite well in this stage. If he can deliver a nice TT, BNZ could go for pretty good overall result with also Edmonson in the mix.

Great work by Meiler for Ben Nasser. He's having a good time at Campari. Has had some good showings previously as well. Looks good for the future.

Ouch, sucks for Areruya to be caught like that and lose the lead, on a day the break won no less. Congrats to Kaisuluvao on both counts - what a breakaway rider he is! Hope for a great battle between them for the KOM jersey.

Shame to lose all GC hopes on stage 3, I was hoping we could get a top 15 but don't think we can get anything now

On one hand I'm rather disappointed that nothing really happened among the favourites. Gautier needs to gain time on every single hilly stage to compensate for the TT.
On the other hand I'm absolutely stoked for Kaislavuo. It really hurt not being able to give him a contract so I'm extremely happy to see him with some success for his amateurs team before he hopefully rejoins us next season.

A steady stage today with not much to worry about, now lets see what the time trial brings |

The two next stages will be deal breakers for Zaini, I'm confident about stage 6 and the hill-top finish, but in the same time worried for the long time trial awaiting today. This will be extremely interresting! |

Nice job from Bazhkou (and Davison). Hope he can stay with the big guns to maximise his result - but not much voer a minute to fall to outside fo the top 10 is an uncertain spot. Looking forward to the GC battle and Areruya hopefully going on the hunt to reclaim the KOM lead before the end of the race.

Been waiting for that first win from Edmondson! Finally got it! Great work team! Hopefully he can keep it going and get a good GC result!

Congrats, Jak. Nice aggressive riding from Edmondson and it ended up with a big win. Gautier putting some pressure on Meyer, who overcame his struggles though.
Nice to see Haas snatching a fair result on the stage and also Gunman did quite well to limit the losses.

Great ride from Gautier putting on some pressure with a GC jump as reward. Now just one or two places more on the next stage...

Wow, what an awful stage Bazhkou tumbling out of the top 10 somehow to weaker riders, and Venter and Davison out of the top 20, and Areruya not making it into the KoM jersey - the rest of the competition just too strong

Wonder what would have happened if Seibeb was part of the original break, but good ride regardless. Pibernik 15th and white jersey is probably as good as we can do on that front.
I'm hoping Guillen has something left in the tank for the last stage

Very nice result from Julien Simon here to take 11th in the GC! Sad to see Rabitsch lose so much in the end, he looked to make a huge upset here!
Mygind doesn’t really perform the way I had hoped for when signing him, but the final stageresult here was good.

Pretty crap race in the end for us, but nice to be involved and a very cool top 10 for our stagiaire Aguirre in his first ever race
