it's a well known fact he's withdrawing half way through
Yeah, I know - but this was all said before Boonen was dropped from the Tour. It must of had a knock on effect somewhere in Team Columbia's plans |

maybe, but Cav wants to focus on the track for the olympic games. I think a gold medal takes priority for some reason.

Are you very very drunk?

how did he win his other green jerseys then
you're conveniently forgetting the fact that he won green when he wasn't on a fast decline

Personally, I am still backing Hunter he has a much better team with him this year.

Freire is on par with Bennati as best climber among sprinters. And I don't mean short hills, because in those he's top.

Hushovd will win it, but he will not be the best sprinter. I think he will win it like he did in 2005: Being consistent in the sprints, and take points in the intermediate sprints by going in the brakes. |

As a norwegian am I of course hoping for Hushovd, and i think the fight for the jersey will be between him and Bennati.
McEwen - Too old
Freire - Only sprinting for victories/Olympics
Cavendish - Olympics
Boonen - On drugs
Hunter - Simply not fast enough
In other words Bennati and Hushovd are the only ones good enough. Acording to me, tough
Maybe Seb Chavanel can suprise even more this year?
