I have just played a season with CSC and the only rider I lost was Voigt because he lacked moral and didn't want to be in the team anymore. I had no problems with salaries.
Did you sign any riders at the beginning of the season? If you do you might get a problem with your budget later |

Simply the more races you win the more money you get, sign sponsors etc.
You can only pay a rider what you have, so you need to earn money.

No, i didnt sign riders... How could you extend sastre or grady?? Your starting transfer salary is 16000 and i know that they want way more than that. Do you get more than 16000 when starting a new career?

Say you lose one of your main riders like saste you will have an extra 70,000 left so you will only have to loose one or a few fringe riders like julich who is old. So pretty much common sense get rid of your last favourite rider and doesnt it make the game more interesting as you will have more competition in races rather than having 10 world class riders so it makes the game harder to win on aswell by the sounds of it.
I have not got the game tho just seeing if you can let one rider go and you shoud be able to afford the rest surely. |

If you read the previous posts you would see that the netbudget is not included in the calculation, so you DONT have an extra 70,000 left just because you dont extend his contract. You have no chance of keeping any of the riders that ends their contract as you cannot extend any whatsoever

Guys, the poster of this thread asked about the stability of the game. Yet, no one has actually answered on that.
Personally, I haven't had any stability issues with the game, not even in the early betas, but I really didn't have any problems with PCM07 either. I guess it depends on your computer configuration, especially now when the requirements for PCM08 have been increased. Keep that in mind before buying the game. |

Thanks for your words. I think I don't have to waste my time answering to you by those words.
I'm sorry but I just have to ask: Did you read what came immediately after the word "stupid" in genvejs post? In the parenthesis?
I'm not looking for a fight, but honestly. |

i cant wait for the game, and if i have any problems with the salarys, ill just edit them
No need to throw your toy out of the pram, they made a good game, be happy that they make this or else what other cycling game would you have been playing the past few years

Not a lot, but it helps to decrease the RAM usage. |

No bug at all!!!??? are you freaking kidding? So you say that its deliberate that all the major teams loose out on ½ their team due to them not being able to renew their contracts??!!
The economy should ofcourse include the netbudget in the factor as well. So that Voigt with his 70.000 could be renewed with 70.000... If your a tester and your convinced of the current structure then im not very impressed
I understand exactly what you are saying. You're saying that your salary offer should include your remaining budget plus what he is currently earning, but you can't.
Which is fairly stupid.
Let's have an example.
Sastre earns €70,000. The remaining salary budget is €10,000. At the moment, you can only offer him €10,000. You should be able to offer him €80,000.
Simple, that's a bug, report it in the bug thread
