We're looking a way to made "amateurs" teams not getting into "Continental Ranking" but racing and doing transferts in Career.
We're trying a lot of things (some succeeds, some not). One of those things we failed is to put more potentiels (16 instead of 8)
Hi Coach
thx for the info, I found the pack on legroupetto and it is downloading now.
As I have thought about the amateurs not participating in Continental ranking: Why don't you build another division settled under WT, Pro Conti & Continental division as AMATEUR? Ok, I guess you will have thought about that, but this could be an option, or not? And to be honest, I would not have a problem with having amateur-teams in the rankings (or having their own rankings).
Concerning the "unplayable" teams: how did you make them unplayable? And how can they be made playable? Both variations might be interesting, espescially, if really all implemented teams may be playable or "promotionable".
Obviously you are doing a hell of a job and I am looking forward (in hope, that the 2018 database can be used on PCM 17 aswell) to have a closer look at it when released!!

We have try to create a division but it doesn't work. No teams were invited. (But I have to try another solution).
So we decide to put amateurs teams into "Continental Division (ID=12) and they could be promote into Continental Pro Division and make some transferts.
To make an "unplayable" team into "playable" team in Career :
1) In DYN_Cyclist, put the roster (riders are in free riders in the original pack) into the team
2) In Dyn_Contract_Cyclist, be sure to have the contract with the team into an appopriate timing
3) In DYN_Team, change the division (ID=12 instead of ID=4)
4) In Dyn_Team, select at least one race calendar for the team
If you want to make a "playable" team into "unplayable" team for career :
1) In DYn_Team, put 0 into the calendar column
2) In Dyn_Team, change the division (ID=4 instead of ID=12=
3) In Dyn_Contract_Cyclist, delete the contract of the riders
4) In Dyn_Cyclist, put the roster on free riders (ID=119)
Doing the stat is the basis of a database so imagine in a database with more than 5000 riders how to be relevant. We decide to use a different way to stat : we're thinking like PCM thinks so instead of talking about numbers, we talk into hierarchy
First of all, we put the Top 100 ranking by speciality.
Then, we make Top 10 by country by speciality
Then, we make Top 10 by race by speciality
And each time, we discuss it between us and change rankings with updated results (for exemple, the Top 100 ranking for sprint has change with Ackermann, Hodeg & Jakobsen results compare to the beginning of the season)
