The swedish commentators are great I have to say, something funny though is that in 4 years I never think they have guessed the correct winner
Okay it was 5 years ago but Anders Adamsson did a pretty good job 2003 guessing that Cancellara would win the Tour de France prolouge next year.
But I believe that Adamsson choosed Contador as this year Giro winner. Vacchi choosed Riccó.

True, they were pretty good at this years giro.....on the other hand, there wasn't a lot of riders to choose from
The giro start field was quite weak

Mader is a quite funny man. Two times, he has forgotten to turn off his microphone. The first time he said to Leth: "Hey, Jørn. Take the mic, will ya? I'll go and shit!"
You may not like them deadpool but for me Ligget and Sherwen are the voices of cycling, and when the Tour is on, I always wait to watch the one hour highlights program they have in the UK at 7pm with them instead of watching it live online.
I like them, but there is a point where you have to draw the line. Believe me, in the tour this year, they will refer to the World Cup instead of the ProTour.

I agree with you and these guys are old school guys and at one point in time it was called the World Cup and these days it is hard to tell what is Pro Tour and what isn't so you can't blame them. I can't stand any other voice.
BTW this is a stupid announcer or at least a funny one.
Two mistakes by the Versus crew while going through the Garmin team list, one, Lowe, despite being listed on the screen is Australian, is called an American by the commentators (Ligget and Shewen). And also, Maaskant is listed as Belgian. Tsk, Tsk, Tsk
Not an announcer but stupid non the less: After todays Tour de France stage danish "reporter" Jasper Stadum asked Kurt Asle Arvesen (with a straight face might I add) if he was trying to avoid crashing during the stage.
Kurt answered: "Yes I think we all are trying to avoid crashing."
My god an intelligent question!

another one, when De la Fuente and Jegou were talking to each other, Ligget and Sherwen were wondering what they were speaking in, as they thought De la Fuenete knew no languages besides spanish. So they noted that French was still the main language of cycling. That lead to the following line, which I am paraphrasing: "Most Spanish riders speak a smattering of French, and most French riders speak a little (pause) Italian or French"
