Somehow the combination of engine whine, tyre squeal and other mechanical noises physically hurt! It's not just unpleasant but actually hurts my ears and makes then ring.
Still got idiotic "drama" music in the background.
It's the Uraguay race, another poor city circuit. Tight track, one-line chicanes. Just one or two real overtaking places.
Drivers that can't drive, already seen a few very questionable moves either dives or over agressive defences.
And then the safety car came out and there were at least overtaking moves after the flags and signs were out....
I really really try to get into Forumla E and enjoy it. But i just can't! So many stupid issues that prevent me watching it for any length of time or relaxing and enjoying it...
Luckily Indycar started up again last weekend with a good race (we'll ignore the dumbass Rossi move). NASCAR still exciting. F1 comes back next weekend. Less than a month until BTCC and WRX start up as well.
Have to say I'm also curious in how the new World Touring Car Cup will show itself with the TCR regulations. Judging by the past few TCR International Series seasons I'm assuming there will be a more open battle for the championship and some exciting races too. Hopefuly I'm not far wrong.
I cannot recommend the WRX, World Rally-Cross Championship, enough! The season starts this weekend at the Circuit de Catalunya. I'm insanely pumped for this season which has such promise.
Unfortunately it's not on regular TV in the UK, but they upload the full race broadcasts to the official youtube channel immediately. Ok it normally needs a VPN to show, but that's not a problem at all.
The Youtube channel is brilliant! Below i'll link to their Pre-season/race Paddock walk which pokes around the garages and introduces all the teams, drivers and changes for the season.
They also upload tons and tons of race clips from the weekends so you can get a feel for the sport if you're not sure about commiting an hour to the full programme. And this includes support classes, which are just as entertaining!
Seriously, check it out this weekend. Give it a shot, you'll love it.
Indy 500 victory for Will Power, can't belive it's only his first! Decent race, not the most exciting and rather anti-climactic. Not a fan of the new aero package.
The days best action, by a mile... or 500... was the WRX at Silverstone! High drama in the semi's really ignited the event. And brilliant action right across the weekend as usual, and the lower levels bring top class racing as well. Highly recommended!

Boy did Loheac deliver on the RX action this weekend! As usual i cannot recommend this series highly enough!
Liam Doran is back and the British Bomb has still got buckets of talent. I won't spoil anything here, just go to the FIA WRX youtube channel and catch some of the highlights. The Final is well worth checking out and i also suggest watching the action from Q3 on a wet track!
I will keep banging on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about WRX because it's brilliant!
Johan Kristofferson has now won 10 out of 11 rounds this year, however this weekend at Estering still leaves me breathless and heart pounding unlike any other motorsport! Just brilliant from start to finish and major drama and epic overtaking.
Predictable results maybe, but the way the racing unfolds makes every single moment on track feel like a surprise and something special.
How great is WRX? I just dropped £50 on an Andreas Bakkerud hoodie. Never in my life have i bought motorsport merch or a sport stars personal merch. And yet here i am... can't wait for it to arrive!
Also Talladega for NASCAR, c'mon Brad, Joey and Kyle! Let's get a win and into the next round of playoffs!
