Thanks, now the only real problem is the size of the thing. Im not sure what the download limit is per month of the internet Im using - 4GB might be a bit too big

Anyhoo, you have 6 activations this year on each purchase. Just to clarify.
Also, as CrueTrue mentioned, the activation is stored in the registry database. So you can uninstall/reinstall as many times as you like as long as you don't remove the registry values. If you format or install it on a different computer, you'll have to reactivate.
On a sidenote, if you've spent all your activations you can just request more from focus or metaboli(dont remember which) via email and they'll send you a new key within a few days. |

Crue, would you mind terribly checking the content of a folder for me in the beta install?
The folders for the textures used to be:
C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\CM_Textures\cycliste\team\*teamname*
Could you check your installation for files in any of the teams folders?
I'm looking for files containing the word "casque" with the *.tga extension |

I'm not sure what you want me to do. I have checked the folder, and there's one casque-file. However, this only applies to some team folders. I have found one in GLS and ACA. CSC doesn't have one, for example.

Not yet, download is still running, aborted it for a few games of DotA :-)
Well, that's good news. The presence of a *.tga file with the word casque in it suggests that it might be possible to somehow create team colored helmets. |

Hi there.
Just purchased a copy of the game (which somehow turned out to be 3 copies, received 3 emails with different order numbers, but that isn't my main concern atm).
When I try to dl the game it stops before it has even begun.
After I choose path for the install, the dl window comes up. It says "Retrieving download list". And after 10 secs with nothing happening I get up "Cannot get file sizes" in big red letters.
Any solution or experience with this problem?

It sounds like its a firewall issue of some sort. did you buy it through a proxy as CrueTrue suggested? If so, try and disable it again (pure speculation that this is the issue) |

By the way, i was able to open and edit the Database with hannes converter (v.2 i think)
You cannot use the official DB editor before you've activated the game. But Hannes works fine :-) Also, i think i stumbled upon a little hint about the demo content while browsing the folders.. go have a look

for people who dont download the game and buy the disk, can you elaborate.
It better not mean that only the people who download the actual game will get a demo before the release, ill personally burn whoever came up with that decision on a pike!!!!

Open yes, but I don't think you can make any changes with Hannes Converter - not until it has been patched at least
