I very much doubt he'll be suspended

If he is suspended it's a big big loss for the world of cycling, to see its arguably biggest star get caught.
I really hope this is not true

Unlike what people here have been saying, Cocaine is a performance enhancer. In the 90s half the peloton or more was on it. before the 90s, it was pretty common to see riders snorting it.

Im pretty sure Lefevre will find a new sponsor, ... he always does
he had 3 years and he couldn't, so he had to beg Quickstep to sponsor the team this season while he tried again (the contract with quickstep ended last year) and they did just as a favour. I'm pretty sure quickstep is a gonner. Im not saying Quickstep will continue to sponsor, but lefevre will come up with a new main sponsor ... like he did with mapei and domo.
Don't realy like lefevre as a person but he does seem to do the job. |

I think you misunderstood me. he he 3 years tro try to get a new sponsor to replace quickstep and he couldn't do it so he had to beg quickstep to stay on for another year as a favour. Quickstep agreed but made it clear it would be one year only.
After 3 and a half years they haven't got a new sponsor. the chances they get a new one from now until next season are quite miniscule.
by "quickstep is a goner", I meant the team, not the brand

Ye, i did misunderstood ya there. But Belgian television reported that Lefevre was talking to several other sponsors (in an advanced stage) to replace quickstep as a main sponsor. Anyway if he wouldn't find one, im sure some other team will fill the gap. |

yes, no doubt. I just hope Lefévère isn't involved. Doubt he is, don't think any team supplies cocaine. Barely impossible to hide that lol.
Being that there still teams out there supplying doping |
