Suggest this to be sticky - super interesting how it wil evolve over time.
Hard to be new, but on the other hand can get only the right direction.

I'll leave the decision of making it sticky to the admins...

MG World Rankings - After April Rankings Update We have a change at the top of the standings! For the first time this season, Festina-Dexia lose their Number 1 ranking and make way for Moser-Sygic. The interesting thing is that Festina themselves have improved their co-efficient score since last month but are still unable to keep up with the incredible start for Moser. With the Vuelta coming up this month however, things may change very soon. The gap is quite small as it is.
Jayco-Cobra are the big gainers in the PT this month, moving up three positions since the last update. Both Aegon and Strava's progress up the standings have been reversed in April. However, unsurprisingly, the biggest mover in the PT this month is Hugo-Boss, who move up five places to occupy their best ever position in the rankings. Iberia fall further, losing two more spots and have now gone three positions lower than where they started the year.
Despite their good showing this month, UBS don't make any progress up the rankings and Grieg have lost three places this month. Orange are four spots worse off than where they started the season. The biggest gainers in the PCT since the start of the year are Isostar and Indosat, both having gained seven positions. While the former gained two spots this month, the latter moved up four! Others doing well for themselves include Podium Ambition and Kraftwerk.
The story of the CT is about slow progress but rapid declines. World Cycling Center are the only team to move up more than one spot in the rankings since the beginning of the year, barring the new teams. However, teams like SanCor and In-n-Out have fallen five positions while Aeropostal and VMP have slipped a massive seven spots. Only one team remains with a double digit coefficient score. Team | Coefficient | Rank | Change this Year | Moser Sygic | 7747 | 1 | 2 | Festina – Dexia | 7707 | 2 | -1 | Vesuvio – Accumalux | 6479 | 3 | -1 | Aker – MOT | 6373 | 4 | 0 | Tinkoff Sport Academy | 5833 | 5 | 0 | Pendleton's | 5802 | 6 | 2 | Jayco – Cobra9 | 5663 | 7 | 3 | eBuddy | 5619 | 8 | -2 | Aegon – Lavazza | 5607 | 9 | 0 | Iberia – Team Degenkolb | 5504 | 10 | -3 | Evonik – ELKO | 5338 | 11 | 3 | Team Puma – SAP | 5245 | 12 | -1 | Gazelle | 4768 | 13 | 2 | Newton Foundation | 4593 | 14 | -1 | RBC Pro Cycling | 4562 | 15 | 1 | Orange Pro Cycling | 4384 | 16 | -4 | Wiesenhof – Andritz | 4152 | 17 | 0 | Hugo Boss | 3836 | 18 | 6 | Porto – Prio | 3404 | 19 | 1 | Ayubowan! | 3344 | 20 | 1 | Grieg – Eftel | 3272 | 21 | -3 | Spotify – Haglöfs | 3199 | 22 | 1 | Strava | 3128 | 23 | 4 | Team UBS | 3002 | 24 | -5 | Meiji – JR East | 2685 | 25 | -3 | Nemiroff – ABBYY | 2559 | 26 | 0 | Berg Cycles | 2509 | 27 | 1 | Eritel – Sonatrach | 2223 | 28 | 1 | Fablok – Bank BGZ | 2168 | 29 | 2 | Generali – EDF | 2102 | 30 | 2 | Podium Ambition | 1968 | 31 | 4 | Project: Africa | 1950 | 32 | -7 | Novatek – Panarmenian.net | 1943 | 33 | -3 | Indosat Oordedoo– ANZ | 1927 | 34 | 7 | Euskaltel | 1888 | 35 | -1 | Netia – Vónin | 1800 | 36 | 2 | Valio – DeLaval | 1795 | 37 | -4 | SPAR – Shimano – SCG | 1784 | 38 | -1 | Lierse SK - Pizza Ullo PCTeam | 1698 | 39 | 3 | Compal – Merida | 1525 | 40 | -4 | Carlsberg – Danske Bank | 1518 | 41 | 3 | Ferrero – Samruk | 1484 | 42 | 3 | Kraftwerk Man Machine | 1407 | 43 | 4 | Azteca – NBCSN | 1399 | 44 | -5 | Minions | 1395 | 45 | 1 | Isostar – Adriatic | 1312 | 46 | 7 | Aeropostal Venezuela Ciclismo | 1286 | 47 | -7 | In-n-Out p/b Carrefour | 1248 | 48 | -5 | MOL – OMW Petrom | 1136 | 49 | 3 | Sauber Petronas Racing | 980 | 50 | -1 | Haute Route – Mavic | 968 | 51 | 0 | cycleYorkshire | 927 | 52 | -2 | SanCor | 879 | 53 | -5 | Team Ticos Air Costa Rica | 819 | 54 | 0 | World Cycling Center | 777 | 55 | 2 | Xero Racing p/b Octagon | 756 | 56 | -1 | Telia – Brussels Airlines | 583 | 57 | 1 | Eddie Stobart | 522 | 58 | -2 | Wiggle p/b Boardman Bikes | 416 | 59 | 1 | Löbauer Stadtwerke – Etixx | 377 | 60 | 1 | Garmin – BikeNZ Cycling | 368 | 61 | -2 | Kulczyk – DMTEX | 331 | 62 | | Repsol – Honda | 306 | 63 | | Goldcorp – Nordstrom Rack | 238 | 64 | | Philips – Continental | 214 | 65 | | Proximus Continental Team | 208 | 66 | | Campari – Super Dry | 187 | 67 | | Team Reddit | 176 | 68 | | VMP – Argon 18 | 143 | 69 | -7 | Andorra Cycling Project | 138 | 70 | | The Balkan Cycling Project | 112 | 71 | | Statoil Pro Cycling | 29 | 72 | |

Yup, seeing us down is only natural after the Giro, you give some you lose some. We got pretty bruised there. What matters is that we stay above relegation at the end of the season and as such I expect some more turmoil between our months and further downfall. Still, 4 places gained since the start of the season is sweet and the gap down is rather large so I am content, whereas with some good late races we may make the Top 20 again.
Sharp rise by Hugo Boss (the month they were having!) and Isostar as well. Seems to me tha tfor Evonik the Top 10 will remain locked this year, little progress to be expected with the GTs around the corner. Would be insane if they can crack the Top 10 at some point this season, honestly, and a symbol of the manager's progress throughout the past 3 years. Who knows, Iberia is within striking distance imo for them.
In many ways, the World Ranking gives a good indication of the teams who continue to top perform against others who are lagging behind, so I really like that. Given how these takes places across all the divisions makes it fun to go through the entire list.
Surprising to see Moser take over Festina but then again, Bewley and Sagan won the majority of their races and out go races where it wasn't the case.
Perhaps you can include a graph of the season changes at the end of the season?

Still scratching on the top ten. Maybe we can get there before the season enda. Keeping Puma behind is is obviously also nice. Lets hope that stays like that.

Maybe I won't wait till that long Need to figure out how to put so many teams into one graph. Separating them out into divisions would be an easier way perhaps.

I think even better than a graph would be to somehow mark the division in which each team is in the rankings you are posting (something like different colors for the team's name for each division).
Great job so far! It's always nice to have a look at these rankings even though we aren't improving our score.

MG World Rankings - After May Rankings Update The top of the PT sees a change again with Festina taking back their number 1 ranking, and nearly reaching the 8000 mark! The team with the biggest upward movement now is Hugo Boss, taking that mantle away from Strava who slip a spot this month. Pendleton's and Evonik reach their highest ever positions. No surprises with Project: Africa having already lost 11 positions this year. Among the active teams, the biggest fall is of Iberia.
Newton Foundation and Orange are still the highest placed PCT teams, but they have lost 2 and 4 places in the rankings this year. Grieg are down 5 spots and Meiji are down 4 since the start of the year. The highest gainers have been Isostar with a whopping 13 place jump this year. They have climbed 6 spots just in May! The biggest fall in the PCT is by Compal, that of 7 positions.
World Cycling Center have been setting the world of the Continental Tour on fire. They have climbed four spots this year. The CT however, remains the division of falling rankings, with Aeropostal losing 8 spots and Azteca and SanCor having lost 7 this year.
An interesting observation, leaving out the new teams, out of the 62 teams that remained in the MG after disbands, only 5 teams are still in the same ranking positions as they were at the start of the year. Just goes to show how much the MG landscape changes each year! Team | Division | Coefficient | Rank | Change this Year | Festina – Dexia | PT | 7990 | 1 | 0 | Moser Sygic | PT | 7683 | 2 | 1 | Vesuvio – Accumalux | PT | 7301 | 3 | -1 | Aker – MOT | PT | 6517 | 4 | 0 | Pendleton's | PT | 6304 | 5 | 3 | Tinkoff Sport Academy | PT | 6046 | 6 | -1 | Aegon – Lavazza | PT | 5951 | 7 | 2 | Jayco – Cobra9 | PT | 5664 | 8 | 2 | eBuddy | PT | 5611 | 9 | -3 | Evonik – ELKO | PT | 5512 | 10 | 4 | Team Puma – SAP | PT | 5309 | 11 | 0 | Gazelle | PT | 5247 | 12 | 3 | Iberia – Team Degenkolb | PT | 5244 | 13 | -6 | RBC Pro Cycling | PT | 4568 | 14 | 2 | Newton Foundation | PCT | 4511 | 15 | -2 | Orange Pro Cycling | PCT | 4245 | 16 | -4 | Hugo Boss | PT | 4222 | 17 | 7 | Wiesenhof – Andritz | PT | 4211 | 18 | -1 | Porto – Prio | PT | 3664 | 19 | 1 | Ayubowan! | PT | 3584 | 20 | 1 | Strava | PT | 3470 | 21 | 6 | Spotify – Haglöfs | PT | 3464 | 22 | 1 | Grieg – Eftel | PCT | 3434 | 23 | -5 | Nemiroff – ABBYY | PT | 3065 | 24 | 2 | Team UBS | PCT | 2959 | 25 | -6 | Meiji – JR East | PCT | 2669 | 26 | -4 | Berg Cycles | PCT | 2517 | 27 | 1 | Eritel – Sonatrach | PCT | 2304 | 28 | 1 | Fablok – Bank BGZ | PCT | 2215 | 29 | 2 | Generali – EDF | PCT | 2079 | 30 | 2 | Novatek – Panarmenian.net | PCT | 2014 | 31 | -1 | Indosat Oordedoo– ANZ | PCT | 1936 | 32 | 9 | Podium Ambition | PCT | 1914 | 33 | 2 | SPAR – Shimano – SCG | PCT | 1860 | 34 | 3 | Valio – DeLaval | PCT | 1850 | 35 | -2 | Project: Africa | PT | 1849 | 36 | -11 | Netia – Vónin | PCT | 1838 | 37 | 1 | Euskaltel | PCT | 1833 | 38 | -4 | Lierse SK - Pizza Ullo PCTeam | PCT | 1787 | 39 | 3 | Isostar – Adriatic | PCT | 1643 | 40 | 13 | Ferrero – Samruk | PCT | 1552 | 41 | 4 | Carlsberg – Danske Bank | PCT | 1522 | 42 | 2 | Compal – Merida | PCT | 1449 | 43 | -7 | Minions | PCT | 1423 | 44 | 2 | Kraftwerk Man Machine | PCT | 1397 | 45 | 2 | Azteca – NBCSN | CT | 1378 | 46 | -7 | In-n-Out p/b Carrefour | CT | 1300 | 47 | -4 | Aeropostal Venezuela Ciclismo | CT | 1208 | 48 | -8 | MOL – OMW Petrom | PCT | 1099 | 49 | 3 | cycleYorkshire | CT | 1096 | 50 | 0 | Sauber Petronas Racing | CT | 960 | 51 | -2 | Haute Route – Mavic | PCT | 941 | 52 | -1 | World Cycling Center | CT | 920 | 53 | 4 | Team Ticos Air Costa Rica | PCT | 863 | 54 | 0 | SanCor | CT | 837 | 55 | -7 | Xero Racing p/b Octagon | CT | 780 | 56 | -1 | Telia – Brussels Airlines | CT | 594 | 57 | 1 | Eddie Stobart | CT | 486 | 58 | -2 | Wiggle p/b Boardman Bikes | CT | 471 | 59 | 1 | Kulczyk – DMTEX | CT | 412 | 60 | Löbauer Stadtwerke – Etixx | CT | 405 | 61 | 0 | Philips – Continental | CT | 379 | 62 | Garmin – BikeNZ Cycling | CT | 349 | 63 | -4 | Repsol – Honda | CT | 326 | 64 | Campari – Super Dry | CT | 279 | 65 | Goldcorp – Nordstrom Rack | CT | 278 | 66 | Proximus Continental Team | CT | 232 | 67 | Team Reddit | CT | 178 | 68 | Andorra Cycling Project | CT | 155 | 69 | VMP – Argon 18 | CT | 141 | 70 | -8 | The Balkan Cycling Project | CT | 120 | 71 | Statoil Pro Cycling | CT | 40 | 72 |

Isostar freaking 13 posiitons, catching teams that have 1-2 years ahead of them in development. Quality.
Happy to be 2 spots up, May has been a good month but we'll have to keep it going. Hopefully June and July won't be too bad, then we may have a chance to keep the position until the end of the year.
Well done to Evonik for getting in that sweet Top 10. Right now, rankings are still a bit volatile because some teams are gaining effectively new months whilst others are missing out on them. Hugo Boss definitely with some serious gain in the past months, Giro and also Ardennes now saw really great performances by them. Surely they will be next to break the Top 15 from the new promoted teams.

Tried putting together a graph with all teams in one place.
How to read the graph:
1. The bottom of the red bar is your best ranking this season. The top of the green bar is your worst ranking this season.
2. The separation line between red and green bars is your current ranking.
3. If green bar is absent, the bottom the red bar is your best ranking this season. The top of red bar is your worst ranking this season. This means you have only declined this season. Your current ranking is the top of the red bar.
4. If red bar is absent, the bottom of the green bar is your best ranking this season. The top of the green bar is your worst ranking this season. This means you have only improved this season. Your current ranking is the bottom of the green bar.
5. If there is nothing against your team, it means your rank has remained constant since the start of the year.
This is not close to perfect yet, but the best I've achieved so far!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Without undermining anyone's contibution, a special thanks to Shonak for almost always being the first to comment after the update is up every time, and with a lot of encouragement and analysis.
I think it's time to remove the 'Experiment' part from the thread title
