Never thought Haavardsholm would be the fifth best puncheur in CT.

Did not expect Vichot to appear at the top of the puncheurs list, but he has some surprising power that will hopefully come through in live racing! Also, it's great to see Penasa in 2nd for the top 3 terrains, as I think his well-roundedness will actually lead him to perform better in tours like Langkawi, with some hills involved. Havik was a shocking miss, for me, on the overall list, but it was good to see some redemption on the top 3 terrains list. Mullen as well is a surprising miss for me, due to his hills ability. Hopefully our planning will make up for some of the quality deficiencies in comparison to the top teams.
I'd be interested to see how race days affect these rankings as well. In particular, how the "overall" is affected by riders unable to take on multiple terrains due to race restrictions. By and large, it's really interesting reading and shows the quality of some of the top teams (Azteca, In-n-Out in particular).
I'd be shocked to see any other squad sneak into the top 2, but who knows what can happen with some lucky breaks
Stay tuned
Havik's stats going uphill and in TTs really pulled him down. He's 5th in the cobbles and top 25 in sprints (probably should be higher) and will get good points for you. He's in the top 50 for best 3 terrains list.
Mullen will get a lot better. Again, other terrains pulled him down.

MTK HYPE TRAIN LEAVING THE STATION WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Amazing analysis Abhishek, throws up some interesting talking points, some very straightforward like effects of backups and second terrains and some more important and complex such as why Kruopis' managers never send him on a part hill schedule since he's so good
He's about to have a massive season, just be ready
Also amazing work Abhishek! I like the anaylsis, in one case we have the number 2 top scorer and in the other we have 5 in the top 5. I like it!
Thanks
I was very interested in Kruopis myself but was a bit over my budget. He should be very useful with his all-round abilities.

Really like this kind of work! Personally glad to see so many of my guys up there, but also think support stats are weighted too strongly in these rankings... Just looking and Wilson Marantes is ranked pretty nicely in several categories because of his all-round ability. However in this world, specialists are a much stronger force.
I'm with Kent here, think your formulas are over-estimating the impact of 2ndary stats over the significance of the primary leading to some odd outliers cropping up. They are important, but on most days, the primary stat dominates unless 2ndarys are terrible and hence a heavy anchor to carry. Always sparks good debate at least!
Good to see that you are highly engaged both here and across the MG forums as a new manager, chapeau!
Well I agree with you both too . Secondary stats have got more importance than necessary in my formulae. I actually made the team rankings before the rider ones. I was happy with the results and stuck to the same formulas. Team rankings will come soon too
Thanks for the kind words also. In the everyday routine, MG and daily is a way to keep the mind fresh. So I enjoy it
