plus, it's pretty much a given he's not riding. he'll lead Rabobank at the Vuelta
Well if you'll have a chance in hitting something really surprising your gotta say something insane.. Who would have guessed that Soler would finish in top 10 last year ? |

ok ill give you him but i dont think you will see basso at the tour next year as if you look at this years stance on drugs i dont think they will invite him or his team if they say he will be riding in tour. I can see him going all out for the giro |

I don't think so either, but I do think he can beat Contador without much hassle, which is what was under discussion |

I think it would be good to see them both at there best racing each other be like watching armstrong and ullrich attacking each other. I would think basso might have the edge in a time trail think they would be close in mountains. It remains to see what level basso returns at as well as contador still is improving |

I think Solar will be hard pushed to equal last year performance as other riders are aware of him and he will be watched by the other favs but i still think he will go for the poka dot jersy and take any gc that will return |

I have no idea how Soler will do. I'm curious. but I do believe a lot of people overrate him based only on his good Tour performances, forgetting he had very crap ones too.

well, it's like this: in any generation, the talent level on average tends to be about the same. even the top-end talent tends to level out. And Contador only became the best after a dozen or so were thrown out for doping. even Rasmussen who couldn't keep up with the previous generation was beating Contador.
By the law of averages, quite a few guys from the generations about to come up should beat contador regularly. |

I reckon Soler will again go for the mountains jersy and ignore the GC as he doesnt really have any chance of victory.

Contador should get better though so I am sure that he will be able to win a few more Grand Tours.

Year Andy Schleck for a top 10.. Gesink could get a top 10 too .. I think Andy Schleck or Robert Gesink will take the white jersey..
Soler will probably go for the mountain jersey .. Get your facts straight. Gesink isn't going to ride the Tour. He is riding the Vuelta this year |

I think Soler would be a big negative surprise. I think he's going to flop. With so much pressure on him, he wouldn't be able to impress anyone. But I think he's going to do a stronger performance next year |

Schleck and sastre will solo up some ridiculous mountain stage to take the win.

Devolder: not good enough in the mountains, think it's is first tour so very difficult to win
Kirchen: one of my favorites
Moreau: like Simoni too old! Top 10 maximum.
Lovkvist: will be helping Kirchen
Efimkim: Perhaps...
Monfort: he's improving, can make a great tour
My prediction to win: Menchov
Surprise: one of Euskadi, Zubeldia, Astarloza.
Real surprise, i know all the names said so far so i'm going to say an almost unknown: Pierre Rolland of C.A, a young very good climber, don't know in TT but i think not so good, made 13th in Paris-Nice and yes he is French, i think he can be a real hope for French cycling future. |
