Squad looks quite good for the season ahead. Rein is an awesome signing btw, should get you lots of points in the mountain races and stage races, especially with the quality of MON support you have for him and should also get you a handful of points in the hilly classics, as should Dowsett. Zepunkte seems like a rider who should pick you up some good amount of points on the cobbles and Stauff should be more than capable of getting a few top 10s in the sprints. Sadly however, your squad seems to be rather weak TT wise outside of your top two stage racers and Schadlich, and that could be a major problem in the stage races with TTTs, as you probably will concede some heavy losses. I think this team will probably end up around the mid-table level, although with a bit of luck, you could be challenging for the Top 5 or even the podium.
Best of luck as always. |

Im scared of Rein. Pre transfer I was thinking about hunting Rein but gave up without a fight he will ofc be brilliant this season, and Cattaneo is a good 2nd GC rider. Those backups stats of Zepunkte and Dowsett is a little worrying. I suck at predict result (why I love reading everybody else thought about my own team and others) but anyway good luck! |

Good to see the money I paid for Flugel has been well invested, should be Reining points it's weird to see Stauff has joined you after riding for Kraftwerk, CT to PT, hope he has a good season. Overall a solid rebuild for PT, good luck.

Thanks for all the kind reponses
I'm quite happy with how everything ended up, going into the transfer season the plan was to get Rein, Pernsteiner, Wöhrer and Grossschartner of free agents and sell Flügel and Monsalve. Nothing else was planned so it was just winging it form there. Cattaneo showed up at an okay price so I had to bite and I hope he will do better than last season.
Dowsett was a late pickup when trying to find the best rider available for 200k wage cap. Not big hopes for him, but every point he can score is more than my hilly setup before signing him.
Rein will be important for keeping me up and securing goals and staying up. Everything else this season is a bonus.

We survived
Before the season the main goal was to survive, we managed that firmly by finishing 14th! Some great results and a lot for the team to build upon for the future.

Individually Rein Taaramae was our best rider, finishing 5th, despite a dissapointing TDF, whilst riders like Mattia Cattaneo also had a great season at 36th. Zepuntke, Preidler and Egger also scored a good amount of points while we are somewhat dissapointed in riders like Paulus and Pernsteiner that we hoped would score a bit more.

The end of Wiesenhof-Andritz
In other news both Wiesenhof and Andritz have decided to cancel their sponsorship and the team is in serious talk with a new main sponsor, looking to join the team as sole "name-sponsor". We are happy about the commitment and support from Wiesenhof and Andritz.

Make Rothaus happening then.
Tough call to lose out on Wiesenhof after surviving in the PT.
Congrats though as Taaramae was key for your season. Wonder if you change your focus towards Estonia or remain a Grman/Austrian based team. |

The end of Wiesenhof-Andritz
That's a mean headline to put out Had me scared for a sec Congrats on survival, Taaramae is a beast Next year hopefully less GT bad luck, and he can translate his massive dominance into a GT title! Hope to see you also build up your PT squad even more next year and improve all-around

Oh hell if there's an Estonian team incoming all my FA talent addition plans will take hits on the other hand I'd absolutely love that, eventhough that may threaten our sponsors from that region

Not lots of talents, but three very very cool riders. I look forward to seeing all three of them as they near their peaks

If Pernsteiner needs a new home at some point, don't hesitate to cross the border to Slovenia as Brändle did very successfully

Whoever had the idea to make Pernsteiner that good, wow. Didn`t realize this until now and in combination with Buchmann, he could become a nice duo for those kind of races.
Willwohl`s similarity to Krieger is great. Should give you a good initiator of what he is capable of. Pretty solid leadout for Zabel I guess. |
