Turns out there is a difference between the Hammer series and a proper mountain, who would have known... Bananito still has a lot of work to do, he will be flying in the Vuelta! |

Havnt seen the stage but 8th for Superman is very good indeed. Fingers crossed for more good signs ahead of le Tour.

He put on a great attack at one point, surely a great sign, given this was his fifth racing day in 2017. I dont know about something great at tour, but i have high hopes for Vuelta.

So the result is worse than his performance, that's very promising. Thanks. Yes Vuelta should be a good to go, especially if he comes flying off the third week Tour. I'm sure he'll ride it, no?

I hope so, but i am not sure if he is 100% confirmed? But nice Tour de Suisse could be that confimation.
That would form some nice triple threat for Astana with Fuglsang and Aru. But as i agree with usual opinion here that this years Tour route is somewhat lame i dont see so many chances for successful use of agressive tactic with three dangerous climbers, that is probably better for succesive tough mountain stages.

Yes, Angel Lopez. Guy is next level, what an incredible performance given the circumstances. Hope he will win on Tiefenbachferner! |

What are the circumstances?
No races since autumn 2016 due to a pretty bad injury |

I wouldn't be surprised to see a strong Felline today either. But who knows, maybe some team even decides to make a serious push on the Simplonpass so that most sprinters are already dropped. But yeah normally I'd say Sagan vs Matthews

But Felline was invisible in first stages right? He was my top3 favourite for the prologue and 2nd stage, but was nowhere his usual level in these stages, anybody knows whats up with him?
GVA was also not very convincing, but you cant rule him out. Still hard to see those two beating Tourminator and Blink.
