Tour Down Under Update
We're at the half-way stage at the Tour Down under and it's time for an update on how people's predictions are holding up.
With his win on Stage 2, Porte leads the standings. Chaves is currently 3rd. While Porte has been selected by all but one of our participants, this is particularly good news for purepasd, Jandal and Raziz, who have selected them both. Surprise package Gorkha Izagirre, currently sitting in 2nd place in the standings was not picked up by any of our predictors.
Still in the hunt for a podium are the likes of Rohan Dennis and Diego Ulissi, both of whom were picked by Luxemburger, while Marcovdw picked the former.
With Sagan finishing on the podium only once so far out of three stages, Croatia and Luxemburger have already lost their bonus while emre would be hoping for podiums from Sagan in all other stages. Everyone else has gone for either 2 or 3 stages on the podium for Sagan and it looks more likely that one of those predictions will bear fruit.
How will things pan out after the coming stages? Stay tuned to find out...

Podium
1) Richie Porte
2) Esteban Chaves
3) Jay McCarthy
Jandal and purepasd take the early lead in this game having picked both Porte and Chaves and getting the bonus question right. Interestingly, they both had also picked Sergio Henao as their third rider. Henao, with a total of four picks, turned out to be the most disappointing among picks.
Selwink and AbhishekLFC share the bottom step of the podium after the first race. It wasn't a particularly good start for defending champion Marcovdw, as he picked up points only for Porte. Luxemburger is the only predictor not picking up any points from this race.
Sagan finished on the podium, and 2nd in particular, thrice, giving the full twenty points to four predictors who had guessed so.
Here's a look at the leader-board after the Tour Down Under:
Name | Races Entered | Bonuses | Total Points | jandal7 | 1 | 20 | 50 | purepasd | 1 | 20 | 50 | Selwink | 1 | 20 | 40 | AbhishekLFC | 1 | 20 | 40 | Raziz | 1 | | 30 | emre99 | 1 | | 20 | Marcovdw | 1 | | 20 | Croatia14 | 1 | | 20 | Luxemburger | 1 | | 0 |

Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race
The entries for the new WT classic are very much open now, with a deadline of 29th January 12:10AM UTC when the race kicks off. The startlist can be found here and
Bonus Question: Will the race be won in a sprint with a group of more than 5, like in 2015, with 2-5 riders, or won by a solo rider, like in 2016?
