the bad news: turns out the demo isn't coming out this month. the website that gave the news have apologised for the mistake.

I'd say it'll most likely come out early or mid october.

the good news: the new game has a face capture option. meaning, when you're editing a player, you can load a pic of someone's face and attribute that face to the player.

here's an example using a foto of series creator and masterming Shingo Takatsuka:

img518.imageshack.us/img518/6835/untitleddd3.jpg

also, the Master League structure is newly done and much improved, rebuilt from scratch apparently.

EDIT:
apparently, they said they've kept this a secret for a long time as a marketing choice. and there are more such things that are new and are yet to be revealed.

cool Smile

EDIT (take 2): series creator and mastermind Shingo Takatsuka (see picture that I posted above) refers to the new graphics improvements as "nothing major. gamplay is, as always, our focus. we just added a few things lik moving hairs and sweat on shirts"

Going to be great. No doubt about it. Unfortunately, I still think these kind of games should be played on a console .. and since I don't have a console I got a problem Wink

small update on the master league:

the news seems to be that Konami have reworked the Master League so you now start as a lower-league club in Division 5 with a small stadium and little money. You have to try and win promotions over the years and build up your stadium (including a stadium editor to design the new sections you can afford to buy)

Chairs (own colour to choose ), pitch-types, goaltypes with different nets, dug-out types and capacity

and Mike: I bought a controller for the PC. dual shock type. you wouldn't believe the percentage of free-time (not overall amount of time, since that is very reduced unfortunately) us computer students spend on PES in those months that we have non-stop work Grin

so...I'd advise the same. they're not really expensive Smile

Actually, I bought a Saitek controller not so long ago. I'd prefer if the buttons had X, O, etc. instead of the numeral system, but well .. haven't tried it with a football game yet, so I can't say if it helps Pfft

well, I bought one that's exactly like the Playstation controller (since I was brought up playing pes on the playstation), and the game is designed for it, so if it has the same structure, it should be okay.

mine

and the psx one:

It looks like mine. Except, I guess mine is a cheap copy. Logitech is much better than Saitek Wink

I guess I'll have to give it a go on PC then. I know for sure that I won't be able to keep myself away from the game Wink

depends. does Saitek take over two weeks to fix something and get it back? Frown

because that's what it's taken to fix my G25 so far...and something tells me two more weeks will pass...

CrueTrue
G25?

And no idea. If this joypad breaks I'll just throw it out and buy a new one, I think. It has barely costed any money, and I don't got the receipt for it anymore.

well, as long as it works well with pes. if it's got a good hand grip, plus the same button distribution and analog controls, it's enough. that way you can have the buttons accessible the way they were supposed to Smile

plus, my gamepad has the stupidest button ever. a button that you push.....and it vibrates Frown....just that...nothing useful....

What systems is the new Pro Evo on? Is it on the wii (please say yes, please say yes...)

no. Pfft

PC, PS3 and XBOX

EDIT: actually, it's on Wii too. but Wii being Wii, don't count on as many features. especially this being PES, which has a mainly PC and Playstation audience.

I'm guessing Mario wasn't around anymore when you grew up.

small update on the master league:

Now, at the start of the ML, you're assigned a sponsor. Most likely, because you've just started out in the lowest division, you'll be given a crappy sponsor that you would never want to see on your beloved team's kit. And by the way, it will appear on your team's kit (cool or what). But as time goes on, you'll be approached by better sponsors, and you can negotiate yourself some serious moolah.

Crommy: Be nice to Mario. He's a legend.

issoisso: It sounds so good! In my opinion, it's one of the things which has always been pretty bad. Master League is a good idea, but they have never really "carried out" the idea fully. It seems like they have changed it a lot this year.

here's the bad part.

fully 360ΒΊ player movement? instead of "just" 16 directions? nope, it was in but Takatsuka didn't like the way it worked so they took it out again Sad

Mario is not a legend, his an Italian plumber who's obviously smacked off his tits given what he's seeing Grin

another small update (I have no idea why Konami didn't release all these things together instead of splitting them over announcements), the PC version will FINALLY come as next-gen graphics. meaning PS3 graphics Smile (not XBOX360, which are slightly less refined)

EDIT: that's XBOX and not XBOB...Grin
