Because if you speak bad about Team CSC in Denmark, people will look at you like you got ebola.

Some guesses:
Danilo Di Luca - already suspected
Andreas Klöden - one of the only 'golden hero t-mobile' riders who survived the clean sweep
Ricardo Ricco' - caught on dope in the junior and espoir period already, don't trust that guy anyhow

What I read is that there are 23 suspicious guys, and some dope affairs too. Unfortunately, the blood passport is still ran as a test, no sanctions can be taken against people with suspicious blood evolution.
Although I'm not sure whether they perform dope test on those samples and take action against the blood owner if it's positive. |

you misread. what it says is that all riders at the Giro have been tested for the blood passport. And the abnormal values are from blood passport tests.

Of the 2,172 samples collected from riders since the beginning of the programme, there were 23 riders who "warranted further scrutiny" due to unusual patterns in blood or urine profiles. Of those, one rider is expected to be sanctioned, while four others are also facing potential bans.

That's the only reason I hate this sport sometimes. Once a piece of news like this is published, every single fan starts pointing out names without any respect for clean pros. Don'y you know a cycling forummer was fined here in Spain by calling a certain cyclist a doper and thus being seen by that rider and taken the issue to court?
Shit. |

It will be either one of the Schlecks or Cancellara. I hope it isn't Bettini though.

I would be pleased if it was. He's been mocking anything that could be useful to catch dopers, opposing everything he could that was going the good way, it would be a good thing if he got caught. |

Every time something new came into the picture he ridiculed it, including such stupid arguments as "DNA tests are a violation of privacy", "The biological passport is a waste of time", etc.

honestly, I couldn't really care which individual it is, as long as he's convicted if guilty.
I'd prefer if it's a guy from one of those teams that everyone involved knows are doped but that have never had anyone test positive.

I agree I won't everyone who is guilty to be proven guilty and everyone who is innocent be proven innocent. It has to get a whole lot worse before it gets better.

I think you have to assume that everyone is clean until proven guilty. Allthough a lot of riders have been caught doping, it is unfair to demad all riders to prove their innocence.

What do you mean with "proven guilty" ? Millar admitted taking dope but nothing was ever proven ? So he wasn't guilty after all, he's just masochist...
How about those like Riis whose dope use was blatant but nothing was ever proven ? "Innocent until proven guilty" ?
That leads nowhere, simply. |

So pro cyclists are the only people in the world who is to be considered guilty until proven innocent?
That makes no sense. What can a rider do other than giving negative doping tests? If the test is negative, the rider is clean. Simple as that.
I'm not saying that none of the guys are on anything other than mineral water. I just choose to believe that the likes of Thomas Lövkvist and Linus Gerdeman are sincere when they speak out against the dopers. I choose to blieve that the mentality in the peloton is changing, and that the younger guys use a different moral code than the older guys.
