I don't think so... If they had that chance they wouldn't bring these riders to the Giro...

Yup, it's been confirmed. Giro officials sent out a press release to media officials this morning. |

Is Petacchi ridding the Giro or not? Because I had that bronchitis a month ago and I never heard any news regarding his condition since then...

This is stunning news..why?
Still no Tour for Astana..and lets keep it this way..damn those Italians.
Question is ..are Astana ready for that.
Klöden is but Leipheimer?

Wow. I hope nobody put any money on who will win the Giro before that came out.
I'd say the odds just took a drastic shift.
As for Leipheimer being ready... I'm betting Astana knew this was coming a while ago. I'm sure they are in whatever form they wanted to be for the race. |

This is weird. And in some way, I couldn't really care less as long as Astana isn't invited for the Tour. If LPR can participate in the Giro, so can Astana |

Both Contador and Leipheimer has been called home from their holidays, and RCS has confirmed that they have invited RCS and demanded that Astana bring Contador to the Giro. |
