I'm trying to get the pcm 08 database to work??????

I'v downloaded the patches and installed them, i've got the pcm db and fixer one too.

The game crashes everytime i try to play a race (ie choose race, team, equipment) the screen goes black and just crashes.

I've deleted it all and started again but the same happens.

The game works fine until the pcm db is installed.

Please help the Tdf starts next week and i want to be playing.......

Are you sure you're trying to install this database on CM07?, just to make sure since PCM08 has just been releasedWink

Also did you do the following:

Yes 'm using PCM07 and i did follow the instructions on the link, really baffled cos never had any previous problems with this series of software.

The original game works with out the new database....

I still have PCM06 installed would that make a difference?

What are you trying to play? If Single Race, you need to apply the Single Race DB. It's located in Program Files/Cyanide/Database -> OfficialReleaseSingle.cdb. Move it to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager/Database, and select it in-game before playing a Single Race.
