Surely there are more skilled and motivated people on PCM websites around the world who would be willing to back a project invest time and money into making a game.
They have 70 employees but only about 5 are working on PCM.
It is not the number of employees, it is the knowledge of them and the existing game engine which makes it easy for Cyanide to produce a game every year.
If you want to build a game from scratch, obviously you need more than skill and motivation.

I'm not sure they should drop the game.
What they should do is send one of their developers to a course in game design.
When people give constructive criticism here they immediately get silenced by a group of people who happen to be the ones that give cyanide feedback. So if I were cyanide I'd start listening to people who don't necessarily and automatically agree with them all the time.
However, before that I'd start with actually standing behind the product they sell for quite a hefty sum and patch it properly.

This is nonsense. Please don't blame somebody in this community for any features which are or are not in the game.
This forum has a suggestion thread which is open to everybody and I am pretty sure that no suggestion has been deleted there.
And Cyanide has an official forum where everybody can post suggestions who fears censorship on pcmdaily. Nobody from pcmdaily will silence you there.
