Theres a guy down my club with a Pinarello f4:13. He the best Road Rider down my club. I really wanted a F4:13 but when it came down to it. I thought making my very own bike was much better. Plus my bike is the only Fully custom bike at my club. I even found a way of doing internal cabling! B) |

Yea... Ryan is a badass... he loved that Road bike so much he got a BMC TT bike... and it worked for him. his TT was good enough to put him in position to challenge for the overall at the stage race we just did. Our team captain flatted in the TT so he won the RR stage with Ryan second. and this is in the Elite 3's.

Hmmm, i was going to ask what do you guys think of the Madone. Personally i dont think they should have gone compact. They look really nice but i keep getting the feeling that there needs to be more |

here is my bike. its got the name of my coach on it he helped my build the frame from Columbus tubing. Its totally custom. All custom Lengths. The frame itself is a 58cm. Kited out Tiagra 9 speed, Mavic equipe wheels (Not the best ) Deda finishing kit. Great bike to ride. Its fully steel and it weighs uhm. Cant remember of the top of my head but its very light!! Trust me on that! I made the logos chose the colour, Its a Tank!

Steel - very light??
I've had a steel bike, they aren't light at all I'm not a big fan of mudgaurds though, pointless added weight in my opinion, and they look horrible, but that's just my opinion

I dont have them on anymore, only put them on for the winter. And i can ensure that i dont just hace a 'Steel Bike' this tubing is top of the range. very light. The frame actually weighed 1.6 kg without forks. Its very light.

I agree with Addy, both about mudguards and steel. I have only seen one reasonably light steel bike, and that was, like yours custom made. It's weight is why Trek no longer makes bikes using it (I work in a small bike store that only carries Trek's, so I know them the best). But still Smoothie, cool bike |
