Although I wonder wether Contador isn't blowing himself up. He fought very hard today for a measly 8 seconds.
If he keeps doing this every day he might have 30 seconds advantage on a fit and strong Evans and Dekker in the time trial.
On the other hand, maybe Contador is so strong he'll crush everyone in the time trial too.. |

Well one can think that maybe, he learned some Discovery tactics!! He used his team ALOT, stayed out of the wind and rode hard for the last 10km or so. He may still have plenty left in the tank... time will tell |

Well, in the Tour he attacked a lot too, but in the Aubisque stage he wasn't that strong, even Leipheimer was stronger there. But ok, that's a 3 week tour. This is a one week tour.
In Paris Nice 2007 he kept attacking without weakening at all. So your probably right, and if so, he'll probably win this easily.
I'll hope for a bad day though, I want some excitement, not a boring race. That's the problem of these kind of superriders, they kill races with their superiority ops: |

The guy won the tour he is a class act and getting better in sport they say your peak years are 28 to 31 so best watch out but there are many good young riders. Be nice to see what his time trialing is like as it was the weakest aspect in the tour. |

Wow, even sprints become weirder and weirder this year. Kroon winning a mass sprint in Leon (in front of Dekker and Mollema), and now Kirchen winning a mass sprint against Bettini...
Oh well. |

Yes i was very surprised, i think it may have been affected by the 1km flag not being in the road, it was just place next to the road. Must have been weather conditions. |

The sprint was also slightly uphill I reckon. It's a nervous race anyway. This was supposed to be a sprinters stage or flat stage, but Thomas Dekker just sms-ed that there wasn't a flat part in this stage. |

Hehe, i think he might be due a good win soon. Hes looking ok, not super form. But there have been a lot of other factors against him as well too. Fingers Crossed |

How is that even possible? Kirchen is an average sprinter, but compared to Bettini...

Just one of those things, Kirchen has a decent kick at times... obviously normally he'd lose to Bettini. |
