I'd agree - but if it's better than Cyanide (or not made by people who work at Cyanide), then it surely must be

Finally, the only thing that can force cyanide to make decent strides on PCM.
Hopefully it'll be good

Full moddability goes an enormous way to getting a loyal fanbase. Case in point: the total war series. they went as far as to provide the community with a complete guide to modding anything. The result: the community grew wildly.
Hopefully that's the case here.
Am I correct in assuming there's going to be a 2008 version of this game coming this year?
If this turns out to be good, it might be the best news for the community in a LONG time

I predict this will either put a small scratch in Cyanide's armor or be a complete failure.

This is great. The more cycling games, the better.Looking forward to more information.
(And I sure hope this is not a "late April's joke"!) |

Quite contrary, on their forums, the announcement on their forums was on 31-03-08, so its an early one for once

But i recommend you guys, don't be that enthusiastic about the new game. I don't expect this game to be better than the new PCM. They can't do a better game than cyanide within a year. But - and that's the important thing - it's a rival product and maybe they will get better than cyanide in the next years. Now we maybe see a fight for the best cycling manager and the players could profit from that!

I think this is the most important thing here. People will be expecting perfection. Which simply won't happen.

Well, I don't really care. I just want to have the choice. I hate the fact that I only have one game to choose from. |

another cycling game can't be a bad thing, like people say will make Cyanide work harder because there is a competitor. At the moment if you want a cycling game PCM is the only one you can have.
But don't expect miracles from the first one as there'll be lots to learn i suppose. (Unless this has been in development for a while)

Great news! It will be better for users and companies. This will provoke that will be a healthy competition between the developers of PCM and this game.
I am very satisfied of this news. The Spanish we expect to be able to enjoy also this game.

I'm not too enthousiastic on this. Even if they achieve a graphical showcase which is similar to the cover, the main point to become a great title is mod-ability. We'll wait and see. |

Make suggestions here (in German) for the game
https://www.crimsoncowcommunity.com/sh...d.php?t=28
if someone who speaks German could ask whether they could make the game mod-able, or if they're thinking about it, whether they could, please do

If it is, or isn't, is something that's long been decided by now and could only be changed by re-doing the game from the ground up. And since they'll probably build on it every year, that answer is key. If it's not, it most likely won't ever be.
